Description

Val di Rumo is immersed in a truly authentic nature since it has not been contaminated by mass tourism with all the urban and architectural implications that this entails.

The setting

The place is absolutely quiet on the edge of the village, without traffic and noise with a southern exposure on meadows and fields planted with potatoes and fodder.

The spots

the pitches are flat and not shaded but easily accessible.

The sanitary facilities

the hygienic services are inside the structure used as B&B with hot and cold water.

The amenities

electricity connection available. Free Wi-Fi. It is possible to use the barbecue and its equipment.

The activities

The activities to do on site are many. Walks through meadows and woods, mountain excursions among pastures and alpine lakes, with gastronomic stops at the "malghe" and farmhouses, fishing in the streams, mushroom picking, visits to castles, museums, hermitages and historical monumental buildings, etc. Last but not least, the naturalistic oasis of Tovel Lake in the Adamello-Brenta Park.

Other things

Val di Rumo is immersed in a truly authentic nature since it has not been contaminated by mass tourism with all the urban and architectural implications that this entails. Everything is pure authenticity, without ifs and buts.

  • We spent a good time. Sandro is very nice.
    Electricity and wc available.
We don't speak Italian but we could understand a bit of German, it was not difficult to understand each other.
    We recommend

  • Sandro welcomed us for a night in the van. The view of the mountains is superb. He's a pleasant host who provides everything we need: water, electricity, toilets. Nice location.

  • Very nice meeting with Sandro and his wife in this quiet valley at the foot of the Madeleine massif.
Sandro is passionate about the history of his region, his mountains, converted vans (he has a very original one) and the history of Tirol. He loves people and will do everything he can to make Homecampers' stay as easy as possible.
The products on offer are of the highest quality.
    Thanks again!

  • The place is very pretty, and Sandro's welcome is top-notch. There's a barbecue area with a tree house for the little ones and a slide. WC available all night. 100% recommended. The host speaks German.

We had an amazing view over Val di Rumo and made a amazing hike in the area.
Could recommend breakfast and we also bought homemade honey!

Our first HomeCamper experience, truly great and would book again.

  • Sandro is a host with heart and soul!

He even drove his car to meet us when we could not find his accommodation. At the pitch we had the opportunity to fill our water and also use electricity.

The breakfast the next morning is highly recommended. Everything was very tasty and at the same time we had a great view!!!

A perfect start to the vacation.

    Thank you Sandro

  • We had a nice few days at Sandro's garden and enjoyed the beautiful scenery, great breakfast and hospitality! Thank you!

  • Sandro is a very friendly and warm host. We felt very welcome with him.
The pitch has a beautiful view of the valley. Unfortunately, it is also the parking lot for the pension guests who arrive and depart late in the evening and very early.

  • Sandro is a fantastic host. Due to the bad weather we could not sleep in our tent as planned. Instead we slept in the B&B. Service was top ! We'll come back when we go back home in 4 weeks so we can try out the camping spot. See you soon, Sandro! Regards Julie, Mateo, Barbara and Serge from Belgium!

  • Thank you very much for your welcome and availability. Sandro is a very kind and helpful person. The place is as described and is located in a beautiful valley and with many walks in the surrounding area. Definitely a place to return!
