Looking for nature and space?
Come and settle down on our magnificent 10 hectares land, bordered by two rivers, 10 minutes walk from the center of Parthenay!

The setting

Bucolic and varied land, made up of fields, hillsides, an orchard and woods, located at the confluence of two rivers and surmounted by a plateau with a very beautiful view.
Quiet and isolated from any nuisance. Well maintained.
You will rub shoulders with our friendly animals (chickens, geese, sheep, donkeys, goats) and will feel a real sense of freedom.

The spots

You will be able to set up wherever you want on this land, many shady or open and flat places, on the riverside or higher up on the hillsides.
Well maintained or wilder....
Cars are not allowed in the campground.
You will have to park on a parking lot at the edge of the property, cross a footbridge over the Thouet river (see pictures) and carry your stuff where you want to settle (between 200 and 500 meters to go, we will help you).

The sanitary facilities

A small rustic house of two rooms, independent, located in the courtyard of the mill where we live, will be at your disposal.
Hot shower, washbasin and toilets (The sanitary facilities are not in the immediate vicinity of the pitches).

The amenities

Rudimentary kitchen available in the small house, refrigerator, gas stove, table and dishes.
Possibility of barbecue. Electricity to recharge mobiles. No internet access.

The activities

On the spot, we can provide you with a three-seater canoe (free price) and our donkeys can accompany you on a trip if we are available to supervise it.
The leisure center in front of our house offers activities (swimming pool, games for children, health course, sports grounds...). Departure of ballads by the GR 36 which passes in front of the carpark.
Several shelters in outside including one equipped with a bread oven.
Do not hesitate to take advantage of the attractions of Parthenay, a medieval and cultural city with many festivals.
Places and unusual visits in the surroundings: Village of Pougne Hérisson (Nombril du Monde, Jardin des histoires), granite chaos, puits d'enfer (exireuil 27 km), Moulin à vent du chêne (Vernoux en Gâtine 23km), Pigeon loft of Beceleuf (35km), Mouton village (Vasles, 21km), numerous walks, ...

  • Great week's stay for FLIP... calm, great weather.
    Some of Marianne and Jérôme's friends were there :-) Good, friendly atmosphere.
    Everything you need at your disposal, even a wheelbarrow to carry your stuff to the campsite :-)
    The owners are adorable and very attentive...

    I had a wonderful stay at Marianne and Jérôme's house. The place is magnificent, we are just next to the city and yet in the middle of the countryside. The animals which walk in freedom, the river which passes just beside and the superb sculptures of Jerome make really of the place an extremely pleasant place.
    As for the reception and the people, they were up to the height of the place. Super nice, I got along with Marianne and Jérôme as well as with the other campers who came for the FLIP too. Everyone was lovely.
    I would definitely come back.
