Hello campers! We welcome you in a simple, calm and atypical place.
In the Middle Ages, the temple inn already welcomed travelers at this place. Today, our windmill, built at the beginning of the XIXth century and which made flour until 1957, continues to see walkers : the GR3 passes in front of our gate.
Besné is part of the Regional Natural Park of Brière.
At 30 minutes from the coast.
At 5 minutes by car from the 2x2 ways Vannes-Nantes.
At 5 minutes of the 2x2 ways St-Nazaire-Nantes.
We are in the middle of the countryside, with no neighbors around... oh yes, cows!
Nice spot for bird watching during the day and star (email hidden)It is an autonomous place: photovoltaic panels for electricity, drilling and rainwater recovery tanks, phytodepuration and dry toilets.
Every day, we are aware of our impact on the environment.
Non-drinking water; possibility of providing bottled water at cost price.
On our large wooded and fenced land, we have Ouessant sheep, dwarf goats and laying hens.
It is also a beautiful playground for us and our children!
Several possibilities to settle down, shaded or not, according to your desires.
The sanitary facilities
Independent dry toilets.
Outdoor solar shower recharged with a rainwater recovery tank.
Internet in 4G ok.
Electrical outlet outside with extension cord provided.
The mill of the temple is really a beautiful stage for the hikers of the GR3, the cyclo-hikers, followers of the simplicity in the nature, a quiet corner to be ressourcer, to rest, to meditate, ... possible jamming in the hammock!
For the swimmers, from Pénestin to St Brevin, many beaches are nearby at +/- 30 min.
GPS coordinates :
In autumn and winter, we only accept autonomous travelers: in electricity (because our solar panels do not provide much at this period) and for the shower (the solar shower is outside - see photo).
A 3 person tent at 8€/night and a 2 person tent at 5€/night.
- Bar / Restaurant
- Canoe / Kayak

A magnificent family! a bucolic and calm and soothing, a stay of the warmest! Softness, respect and sharing are at the rdv a magnificent meeting!
Very nice place, peaceful, and welcoming. Laura and her little family are very warm, you feel so good that you want to stay longer.
Excellent stay, very warm welcome and very enriching exchanges.
Thank you again!
I was very well received by Laura Fabien and the children.
The land is big enough to have privacy, the setting is relaxing.
I highly recommend these hosts
For our first night of homecamping we were very well welcomed by Laura and Fabien and their 2 children. A small quiet place under the trees to pitch the tent and the very friendly evening spent with these long distance travelers make us keep an excellent memory of our stay at the mill!
Thank you very much for your warm welcome, and these very interesting exchanges. The setting is also beautiful. See you soon, maybe!
Laura and her family were very welcoming and this meeting was the occasion for many exchanges on our respective travel experiences. The site is very calm and pleasant, with a beautiful place to settle down, animals to observe and the tower of the old mill which dominates. Our stay was the occasion to test our bivouac equipment before a bigger trip, towards the north.
Beautiful meeting with Laura and Fabien, with the small care with their hosts by offering them a direct contact with the nature and the animals. The setting is superb and the serenity is there.
Delighted to have met Anouk and Paco, their two little children. To be recommended without moderation!
A superb place in the green and calm. The welcome is excellent and warm. The children showed me around the goat and sheep pens and helped me set up my tent under the green cedars. There is a very convenient electricity point and Laura, having traveled a lot herself, is always ready to help. The shower point is spartan but pleasant, more limited perhaps if one must wash long hair or camp with several people. Otherwise the site is in the spirit of what should be the Homecamper spirit, which is not so frequent.
Thank you for this welcome - Available and discreet host, adorable children. Laura takes care of the comfort and the intimacy of each gamper.
We recommend! ;-)
A very welcoming family! A perfect night for us who love the outdoors! The red moon over the mill was just sublime! Thank you ☺️
Very pleasant little stay !
A welcome at the top, sharing a nice aperitif, exchanges with their adorable children, presence of their animals, place in the peace, we would return there with pleasure!
Thank you Laura, Fabien, Annouk and Paco (sorry if I misspelled it...).

We put down our camper in this magic and timeless place, the time of a night. We had the pleasure to exchange around a glass with Laura and Fabien, while their children and ours were playing together with the goats...
Thank you for this pleasant moment!
Un séjour au bout du monde et en même temps proche de tout, le lieu invite à la rêverie... L'accueil a été plus qu'agréable, nos enfants ayant trouvé des complices de jeux, ils auraient bien voulu prolonger le séjour! On reviendra sûrement!
Very pleasant moment! Very beautiful place. Part of land reserved for vans is very good. The people are very welcoming and pleasant. There are goats and chickens for the children it's great. Thank you again, we will come back !!!!
A very nice place in the middle of nature. We loved it !

What a welcome! Laura was very thoughtful for me. I spent a night sheltered from the rain and was able to share with her some beautiful moments
It was really a beautiful evening, the welcome was great, the hosts took the time to answer all our questions, the place is like magnificent. We even shared the meal together (like at home). We didn't even pitch the tent, the sky was our roof for this night. Stay too short, we will come back. Thanks again to you
Super stay, super nice setting. We would have gladly stayed there. Thank you very much for the great welcome
Laura, Fabien and their children are adorable, we spent two nights on their land, with the company of their little goats and sheep, the setting is very pleasant, quiet and in the middle of nature everything we were looking for, thank you again for your welcome and see you soon ☺️
A wonderful meeting with a very nice family. We had a lot of fun talking and sharing during the day and under the stars. We were also able to bring back 2 very nice books from Laura!

Hello Laura and Fabien and all the nice family as well as the dolls, goats...! What a pleasure this stop in the middle of this beautiful nature and so much benevolence! I particularly recommend this stop to get to know this beautiful family.
Backpacker atmosphere and good moments of sharing with Laura and Fabien. Very good point of entry in this bocage and these marshes a little mysterious. Thank you.

And superb ground.
We felt good right away.
