Description

In the countryside, 10 minutes drive from Tournai, in the hills, we welcome you in an old farmhouse with a covered and heated swimming pool!

The setting

Camp on a beautiful small plot of land in a quiet area, with a view of Thimougies!

The spots

The ground is shaded, more or less flat, and can accommodate a maximum of 3 tents and a maximum of 6 people.

The sanitary facilities

You have access to a private shower and toilet, as well as a sink, with hot water.

The amenities

Electricity with an extension cord is available.
For the fire, a brazier is available.
A coffee machine (senseo) and basic dishes have been added.
A terrace with a table and 6 chairs and 1 baby chair is also available, with the possibility to put it under cover in case of rain.
Wi-Fi is available on the terrace but does not extend to the back of the property.
You have access to the heated pool until 15/10 and its relaxation area.
Children's games (swing, table soccer, trampoline and wooden games) are available.
Fresh eggs are available on request.

The activities

Tournai, the historical city with its cathedral with 5 steeples is 10km away and Thimougies with its recently rebuilt mill a few minutes away. The area is also ideal for walking and cycling.
Lille is 25 minutes away.
Brussels is 1 hour away.
On the spot, take the opportunity to relax at the swimming pool.
Children can enjoy the games available.

Arrival after 5pm on weekdays. Free arrival on weekends. Please confirm an approximate time :)

  • A better stay is always combined with the quality of the host. Barbara and Laurent are very nice, welcoming and caring (both artists). They offered me a description of Tournai: history, historical monuments. Do not hesitate to ask them if you want to discuss with them, they are very open. I highly recommend them.

    The facilities for campers are very complete, with access to well-maintained sanitary facilities and a separate games/dining room from the house. We were able to pitch our tent at the bottom of the garden, in a shady and quiet area. Our little boy enjoyed the games in the garden, accompanied by the dynamic children of our hosts.
    And what a pleasure to be able to relax in the warm water of the pool after a day of cycling!
