Description

Lovers of travel, nature, photography and the feeling of freedom that a motorhome provides, we have set up a space for motorhomes in our garden. We would be delighted to welcome you there!

The setting

We are in a small Portuguese village near Leiria, in the middle of nature. Perfect environment for nature lovers: peaceful calm... We have a small animal sanctuary with goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, etc... We also have dogs, Golden Retriever and German Shepherd and a cat.

The spots

There is space for 4 camper van sites. The land is flat, closed, easy to access, totally suitable for motorhomes!

There's drinking water and a solar shower.

The activities

We are 650m from the mini-market, coffee and pastries.
In Vila da Caranguejeira, which is 2.4 kms away, there are restaurants, cash dispensers, banks, laundries, butchers, pharmacies, cafes, mini-markets, etc...
To visit nearby there is the Cruise and the Miradouro do Carril which can be visited on a small panoramic route overlooking the town of Caranguejeira, there is the Lapedo Valley, the Natural Park of the Barroca da Gafaria, etc...
We are 9,7 kms from the centre of Leiria, 18 kms from Fatima, 32 kms from the beaches, 22 kms from the Monastery of Batalha, etc...

  • Very good! Communication with our hosts was pleasant, before and during the stay, the location and the situation corresponded perfectly to the description and to our expectations. In addition, Carla and César allowed us to bring and "let go" our dog, to take water from the hose right next to the parking. A quiet setting, a bit in the countryside, quite a large enclosed, flat lot where we parked our van, for us alone, at least that day in November. We were in "personal autonomy". Our hosts were very warm, available, helpful, and at the same time "discreet": in a word PERFECT! ;-) Before arriving at their home, we visited (among others) the beautiful city of Coimbra and the excavations of Conimbriga. On our way out we visited Fatima, Batalha, Alcobaca, and then had lunch in Nazare. It is with great pleasure that we will certainly return one day.
