Description

Hello, on a small shaded area or not, we will be delighted to welcome you (two tents of two places) on the town of Biganos.
Close to all amenities (tobacco, bakery, pizzeria ...).
The train station is 15 minutes away on foot to discover Bordeaux in only 30 minutes or the Arcachon basin, without forgetting a daily bus which takes you to the ocean (the Grand Crohot).
We welcome holidaymakers of all ages.

The setting

Located in a quiet street, not far from the port, the Leyre river (canoe rental), several possible hikes and bike paths nearby.

The spots

I can accommodate two tents of two places but in view of the context the second tent only if they are your children or if you are with friends.

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets are at your disposal 24 hours a day
A water corner is accessible outside.
New: for your comfort we have made an outside shower (hot water). An access to a washbasin outside.
Household disinfectants will be at your disposal !

The amenities

No kitchen, but you can ask us for dishes.
A fridge is at your disposal in an outside shed.
Possibility to get the wifi (difficulty since the installation of the fiber).
A plug is at your disposal to recharge your cell phone or other.
Possibility of making you a breakfast because you have at your disposal a kettle, a coffee machine and a microwave.

The activities

For the children at less than 5 mns walking distance, you have a small playground.
At home we have coloring, and small games (dînette, puzzle .....)
For the older ones, there are several walks or bike rides, the port of Biganos, the bird park of Le Teich, in Gugan several parks for young and old, accrobranche, mini golf.... without forgetting the beaches, the dune of the pilat and many other things to discover!!!!!

Other things

Second experience for us which will be, I hope, as constructive for you as for us so do not hesitate the criticisms and the compliments will help us to improve.
I propose to rent you a towel or towels that take a lot of space in a bag at a small price (to be seen when you make your reservation).
We have a dog (Spaniel Breton) who is very friendly and loves children and goes outside from time to time. A cat that stays inside.
If you have a pet, ask us, we will try to find a solution if he comes with you during the day.
We will agree together on your arrival and departure time during our first telephone contact.

Rules

Smokers accepted but putting butts in an ashtray is mandatory.
Garbage can outside which will thank you if you use it.
The site is clean on arrival so it will be clean on departure.

One reservation per tent is mandatory

  • Very good stay with Nathalie and her family. Attention mosquitoes are out, provide repellents.
    We took the breakfast which was good and varied (fruits, infusion, pastries). At the top to spend a few days in the region!

  • Kindly welcomed by her daughter who was very accommodating, we had a pleasant stay with Nathalie! Ideally located between the train station and the kayak clubs, the accommodation allowed us to easily reach both, even on foot. The night was rather calm and peaceful in spite of an evening of July 14th. We had access to all the necessary amenities thanks to the small outdoor shed and the house's bathroom at our disposal.
    Our only small drawback would be the size of the tent (in length) which was too short and which prevented one of us from taking a good position at night and thus from sleeping well.
    But overall it was a very good experience with a very good quality/price ratio, so don't hesitate!
