Arnaud D.Good communication with Willy beforehand and a warm welcome on arrival. Willy was busy during the day, so we didn't have a chance to see him when we left - a pity for us, but quite normal for the season.
The setting is lovely, and the little hammock and table area makes it easy to get the most out of the place. The location is great, with La Cotiniere nearby for bike rentals, for example.
The only thing to improve, which is the same as all the other comments, is the sanitary facilities. The shower is not in the home but outside, with cold water from a city water pipe, which also serves as a watering place for water bottles. There's no cabin, so you shower in roots mode.
The toilets are dry, so we know what to expect - no surprises.
Willy provides access to electricity, which is very practical. -

Discussion with. Willy ok before arriving. On site the welcome was rather cold. I asked Willy if I could stay 2 more nights. He said we'll see. The other couple did the same, saying he hadn't validated their 4-day stay but only their 2-day stay. Willy replied that he didn't always want people on his site.
The next day, I ran into the couple who told me that Willy had rented the site to 4 young people who were going to have a party.
We'd been there before, made a clear request, but Willy hadn't contacted me in advance.
What's more, the water hose on the ground right next to the dry toilets is just not up to scratch.
The site is nice, but I find it a bit expensive for the service. -
Catherine J.Willy is very friendly, spacious pitch. Rudimentary shower, cold water only. Very pleasant hammock area. Close proximity to a very nice market gardener with great vegetables, Saint Pierre town a few km away, nearby beach with very few visitors.
A good stay despite the bad weather! -

Concerning the camping site at Willy, everything is OK but some work would be welcome concerning the sanitary facilities. Otherwise no or few mosquitoes and Willy is very nice. I recommend it !

Audrey C.Very nice stay at Willy's where we spent a week :) The shower and toilets are basic but perfectly functional. The site is very well placed for cycling around the island. There is a lot of shade, which was essential during these hot periods. One small remark: a little bit of storage would make the field safer, especially in the presence of young children.

Clara C.I liked the calm and the conviviality of the site with benches, tables and chairs and the possibility of making a fire around which to meet and share a meal. Shade possible for 5 tents by squeezing a little. I liked the access to the beach in 10 min walk, the proximity of the fishing port and the almost central situation on the island!
There are still improvements to be made to the shower (curtain flies in the wind at the entrance of the campsite, not separate from the dry toilets, cold water) and access to water perhaps to avoid the constraint of water valves to remember to close at each use of the garden hoses.
Even if Willy was not very present because of his seasonal work, he was attentive, welcoming, accommodating and I enjoyed chatting with him. I recommend without hesitation and I will come back on occasion! -

For those who camp in a tent, bring a hammer because the ground is very dry to plant the sardines -

The place is very nice, the ground is very big and we could meet nice people, in particular Will who is not stingy of good advice and good plans.
We can reach the ocean on foot in 5min, the first beach in 15min on foot and there are shops not far.
The ground is rather easy to find.
We took advantage of the campfire to make grills. -
