Description

Garden plot with tall trees, lawn for sunbathing, use of barbecue, toilet, sink, kitchenware in the garden house. 3 Soay sheep, guinea pigs and chickens are the direct neighbors in the garden. Many play facilities for children and adults can be used.(Trampoline, table tennis, badminton, climbing facilities, swings, soccer hall,
golf equipment for nearby golf courses, many toys and painting materials).
Additional services such as electricity, bike rental, firewood etc. can be booked on site.

The setting

The Wahner Heide is located between Cologne and Bonn and is one of the largest heath landscapes. The Siebengebirge, the Bergisches Land and the cities of Cologne, Bonn, Siegburg offer a myriad of great and cultural destinations, which also invite you to day trips by bike, bus and train. Phantasialand is half an hour's drive away. With the Sieg, the Agger and the Erft are also kayaking areas in the surrounding area.

The spots

We accept maximum vehicles up to 6m! The rental price is with max. 2 persons. Additional persons only on request and at extra cost. These costs will be calculated on site.
In the garden there are possibilities to build up smaller but also bigger tents.
Also parking space for campers would be possible. WC, sink, barbecue area, tables and chairs, kitchen equipment in the garden usable.

From the Cologne Cathedral, over the Neander Valley to the Siebengebirge. More than 20 museums up to the largest amusement park "the Phantasialand" in the region, invite to day trips.

  • We are very happy with our stay? The hosts are very kind, available and responsive. We've been on a lot of camping trips before, and the kids are unanimous in saying that this was their best vacation ever, because there were games and toys everywhere. Huts, swings, slides, free-roaming animals, candy... .

    We camped on the sheep field. It was very big, and the sheep didn't bother us at all, they were adorable. The big negative point was the presence of numerous mosquitoes, but this was not due to the hosts, so we had to equip ourselves with anti-mosquito products.

  • Large garden near a huge villa between Köln and Bonn. The garden has a lot of furnished and decorated corners, tables, trampoline, campfire corner, etc. Quiet area but close to the airport, you can hear the planes! Our hosts, Günther and Erika, are adorable and welcomed us with kindness, by proposing us a lot of small very nice extras. A perfect stop for a night or two on the road, or even to explore Cologne...

  • I can't believe a place like this exist. Erika and Gunther are the best host ever. Their place is amazing. The setting is amazing. We had some friendly youngsters doing a party in the garden but staying with the goats we had the best night ever. We had a barbecue and enjoyed America's donuts and pretzel. Overall I think it is the best place I have found by now. Please remember not to put toilet paper in...????
