Description

This ad concerns vehicles that are autonomous in energy. I propose a single pitch with dry toilets (from June to September) that you manage, no shower connected to the water circuit.

We'll welcome you with simplicity and sincerity, so you can settle down in this seaside resort far from the traffic jams and hustle and bustle of the town center.
Hendaye is the last town before Spain, and its geographical location means you can enjoy both the sea and the mountains.

The setting

Flat plot in my garden.
At the entrance to the town, coming from St Jean de Luz, the vélodyssée, the Camino del Norte and the beach.
Presence of free-roaming cats and the house's own laying hens. Pets (dogs and cats) are welcome, provided they are on a leash and remain with their owners.

The spots

The terrain is flat, with half shade and half sun depending on the time of day.
Easy reverse access for motorhomes and vans.
For vans, possibility of a U-turn.
Arrival possible from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

No full shower or camper van.
A terminal dedicated to emptying camping cars is located 10 minutes from the house.

but also mountain activities, hiking, departure of the GR 10, HRP etc...
Cycle tourism, with numerous cycle paths and short climbs in France and Spain.
Thalassotherapy, 1 golf course per commune, surfing of course.
Visits to Spain, intermodal exchanges, train, bicycle, bus, trambus all along the Basque coast.
Sea shuttle Hendaye-Fontarrabie (Spain) Hendaye-Saint Sébastien by metro (euskotren) Biarritz airport, Saint Sébastien airport, airport shuttles.

Other things

Park your van or camper van with us, bus stop right in front of the house, bike rental (in town), surf and paddle boards (in town), etc. and wetsuits (in town) if you don't have your own.
We'll be there to advise you according to your tastes and what you're looking for, in an atmosphere of simplicity and exchange.
We don't welcome tents as we don't have any facilities, only dry toilets. From June to September

I'm sensitive to the environment, so I ask you to make an effort to sort your waste,
cardboard, plastic, etc., in the yellow bin, glass in the container; no butts on the ground, please.
Organic waste in the bucket provided for this purpose, it will enrich the compost of the house.
No noise after 10 p.m.

The location makes it easy to get around wherever you want to go. The beach is a 7-minute walk away, the coast 7 minutes by bus and St. Sebastien 1h15 by bus and train.     Ideal for 2, maybe a bit expensive for 4 (48 € per night) compared to the level of equipment available (it clearly lacks a real shower and a sink to give it 5 stars) but we will nevertheless come back with pleasure when the solar water heater will equip the shower (2022?); thank you again Mirentxu!

  • Mirentxu nous a chaleureusement accueillis. La place qu'elle s'applique à préparer est agréable et bien placée pour profiter d'Hendaye sans habiter dans la foule.
    Par la route (pistes cyclable et piéton) est une alternative rapide, mais par la corniche c'est sublime, tout comme le long de la plage et du fleuve. Le tour en petit train de la ville fait découvrir l'histoire et les lieux moins fréquenté, nous n'avons pas eu le temps de faire la navette fluviale vers l'espagne mais ça a l'air vraiment sympa (2€). Possible de rejoindre la
    mer en bus (1€) arrêt à côté de la maison.
    On recommande le restaurant "Oumar" à la place de la république: 25€ entree-plat-dessert: mets et présentation raffinée et service impeccable et agréable.
