La Piccola Raieda is a typical farmhouse of the Apennines between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, immersed in the green of pastures and woods just 25 minutes from Bologna and 50 minutes from Florence, located at 500 meters high within the pristine nature reserve of the Pliocene Spur and exactly at the end of the first stage of the Via degli Dei 50 meters before the ascent to Monte Adone.
In our 10 hectares we breed horses, poultry and cultivate aromatic plants, vegetables and fruit trees; we also produce a fantastic honey and tasty jams.
Piccola Raieda is a farmhouse in the Appenino between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, immersed in nature, in old forests only 25 minutes away from Bologna and 50 minutes away from Firenze. It is located at 500 m in the natural reserve of the Pliocenic Spur and exactly at the end of the first day of walking on the famous Via degli Dei, 50 metres before start climbing Monte Adone.
The setting
Tents can stay in the garden of the agriturismo, near the bathroom.
We also have rooms with private bathroom.
The sanitary facilities
The bathroom for tents is in an house in the garden. It has all services and a shower with hot water. There is an external lavatory to wash the clothes and a place where to dry them on open air.
The amenities
The meals must be booked in the restaurant of the farmhouse. Guests do not pay for sleeping here with their tents but must have breakfast and dinner in our restaurant at the price of 35 euro per person per day drinkings not included.
The activities
We are specialized in HORSE HOLIDAYS: lessons for beginners, horse riding, horse trekking school and horse trekking on the beautiful trails between Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany.
For guests who want to stay with their own horse is provided accommodation in large paddocks with shelter, for others are available to the farm horses, reliable, well cared for and suitable for all levels of preparation.
MOUNTAIN-BIKE and WALKING enthusiasts will be able to enjoy wonderful routes within the Natural Reserve of the Pliocene Spur: maps of the routes are available in the farmhouse.
We are specialized in horse riding holidays: we provide courses, trekkings...
For the guests who will want to come in with their own horse, an accommodation is provided in paddocks, for the other people the agriturismo's horses are available.
The mountain-bike and trekking lovers, will have the possibility to enjoy beautiful itineraries in the Contrafforte Pliocenico natural reserve : here you will also find maps to guide you ;-)

Uso corrente elettrica per camper a pagamento.
