Living in the Paris area, and heading to the Dordogne, I wanted to visit Oradour-Sur-Glane, a martyred village and also Saint Junien... So, I opted for Home Camper, for my evening stopover... I was very well welcomed by Bénédicte with a lot of kindness and especially a cup of coffee that boosted me up (see the rainy weather conditions) .... Equipped with a station wagon that I fitted out with a bunk bed, Bénédicte spontaneously proposed to me to park my vehicle in the barn adjoining her house... The shower and the independent toilets were "the plus" which made me opt for this final choice. With Bénédicte, we also talked about the tourist sites near Cognac la Forêt:
Circuit Les Hauts de Blond | Haute-Vienne Tourisme (tourisme-hautevienne.com)
Hiking in Haute-Vienne around Limoges, in Limousin - Hiking in Haute-Vienne in Nouvelle-Aquitaine (loopi-velo.fr)
There is no doubt in my mind that I will come back to Limousin and to Cognac la Forêt with Bénédicte because of her warm welcome and above all her empathy.
Moving from Normandy to the Gers, we were looking for a place to stay overnight, in the midst of the complicated November 2020 lockdown.
Bénédicte is an EXCEPTIONAL hostess
Of an extraordinary kindness, with the small care for the people, understanding and of a great benevolence (we had an accident on the road 1 hour before arriving at her place and instead of arriving at 5 pm we arrived around 10 pm... No matter, she pampered us once we got there)
If you are looking for a nice place to rest, in an absolutely bucolic and charming setting, don't hesitate to go and sleep at Bénédicte's place!
She is a wonderful person!
Valerie and her father Jean
Thank you for everything Benedicte !
