We are a family of 6: 2 adults + 4 children.
We create our permaculture ecolieu.
It's always nicer to stop for the night at people's homes, to be able to exchange and share, rather than on a concrete camper van park and devoid of human sharing!

The setting

We live in the middle of the Creusoise countryside in a small hamlet of 8 houses.
Our ecolieu has 7000 m2, with our house and an independent building (barn and hangar).

The spots

Truck access ok
Rather flat land

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets in a hut near the barn.

The amenities

The 100m² barn offers a reception area with a kitchenette (gas stove, sink + drinking water, fridge/freezer), tables and chairs, a lounge area.

It is possible to
- connect to electricity in the barn (it is best to bring a large extension cord)
- fill your water tanks.

The facilities are simple and rustic.

The activities

At the ecolieu, we offer holistic treatments (reiki, massage for women, hypnosis, sophrology... ), an introduction to permaculture, the visit of the place...

Around us : walking in the Creusoise countryside, swimming in the lake, fishing...

Other things

The electric connection is 2 euros / 24h
Water filling : 2 euros

The reception is done in a spirit of "community life" in self-management.

We welcome people from all walks of life. In order for your stay to be pleasant for all, we ask you to respect these rules of life.

* The house is our personal and intimate space, therefore access to it is forbidden, unless otherwise stated. It has happened to us to undergo breakage or theft, we wish to preserve us.

* Drugs and excessive consumption of alcohol are forbidden on the premises. In case of non-respect, you will be immediately excluded.

* Cigarette smoking is allowed outside, but cigarette butts must be disposed of in the appropriate containers.

* Garbage cans are at your disposal for the selective sorting and your household waste, as well as composters. Thank you for respecting the place by avoiding waste on the ground and teach your children to do the same.

* Think of the Earth, please use environmentally friendly products (for dishes, personal hygiene etc.).

* Different infrastructures are available on the site (tent, arbour, furniture, crockery, games area, vegetable garden, henhouse, beehives...), please take them into account and respect them. Any broken or missing material will be at your charge.

* Children are under the full responsibility of their parents. If your children have behavioral problems, aggressiveness, etc., please accompany them so that the other children do not suffer.

* All forms of violence (physical and/or verbal) are forbidden, especially educational violence. In our home, spanking, slapping, punishments, denigration, humiliation, etc. are forbidden. If you need a relay with your child(ren): ask another adult for help.

* In order to respect everyone's sleep, please avoid excessive noise late at night or early in the morning.

* Your dogs are your responsibility. Please ensure the safety of our animals (cats, chickens, bitches) and that of the residents. If your pets are dominant or do not tolerate other animals or humans, please keep them outside the premises or properly tied up.

* Participate in the daily life and tasks (you are responsible for your dishes, cooking, laundry...)

In case of non-compliance with the charter or if your presence proves to be difficult for the other persons, we will discuss it with you in order to find a solution. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the place.

Land & setting
  • Very warm welcome. By our fault, we got bogged down and a neighboring farmer got us out of trouble quickly.

  • Family and their friend, very friendly. Very good advice on permaculture. Thank you for your welcome and this evening shared with your family.

  • Like a bubble at Erika and her tribe!
My stay was the occasion of beautiful exchanges, and a warm welcome.
This is what I was looking for in my camping experience: simple living, refocusing on the essential and reconnecting with nature. Thank you for what you shared with me
