Everything is provided for children: swings, darts, ball ... there is a henhouse, my son could feed the chickens and we are distributed with eggs! In short, charming hosts and a very nice first home camping experience for us!

I stayed only one night, roaming by bike. The house is located in the center of town which even has a small mini-market. The garden is large and very well maintained. The sanitary facilities are spotless. I recommend without reservation; with such hosts, there is no reason to go camping.

We spent 6 wonderful nights with Isabelle and Xavier. Their welcome is exceptional, full of attention and discretion. We felt like we were leaving friends when we left... The land is vast and separated from the house by a hedge of trees. We were able to enjoy the garden, a bbq, fresh eggs collected in the morning in the henhouse and sanitary facilities like at home. The climax of our stay was a superb walk, at low tide, to the old lighthouse of Walde near the seals and a wreck, made on Xavier's advice.

We could use the picknick table and he even made place for our fridge. The bathroom was superclean! Unfortunately we had a couple of cold nights and decided to leave earlier, but we definitly would like to come. The beaches are amazing!

Anne R.Xavier and Isabelle welcome you with a lot of sympathy. While being discreet, they regularly check that nothing is missing from your stay. You can settle down wherever you want, in the shade or in the sun. The garden is wide, deep and is arranged with trees and fir trees allowing to divide naturally the spaces. We were 4 families at the beginning of our stay and we hardly noticed. Our hosts are keen to keep the number of campers on their property to a minimum and that's great. The place is equipped with a shower room and independent toilets, new, very clean and accessible day and night. An outside sink with hot and cold water allows you to wash your dishes in the open air. You can use tables, chairs, benches, swings, barbecues and a corner to make a fire and why not, watch under the stars. The beach and shops are within walking distance. If you need to go further, Xavier and Isabelle will find a solution. They will advise you on local activities and good places to visit. You will quickly feel at ease. We highly recommend this HomeCamper!

The sanitary facilities are a plus not to be neglected, there is a little vis-à-vis on the meadow with the neighbors, but in the near future the fir trees planted by Xavier will do their job.
Xavier is always present to answer our wishes.
I advise you the beach of Calais and its new dike.
Oye-Plage is not big but you will find a bakery, a carrefour contact, a lidl and a small fried food shop.

We had such a perfect time! We (my husband, our two children, 4 & 1 year old, and myself) stayed for one week. Isabelle & Xavier were unbelievably friendly, welcoming & helpful, … they borrowed us bikes so that we could go to the beach by bike which was really nice and comfortable. We were allowed to use everything on the property, starting by fire wood, the Barbecue, the „Petanque“ balls, fishing equipment … we even were allowed to look for fresh eggs from the chickens in the Morning. Our children loved the place and everything about it, our son is still practicing to pronounce the name „Xavier“ the right way! :-) We can absolutely recommend the place and the hosts!!!

Beautiful small, private place. Incredibly friendly hosts - always trying to fulfill every wish. For us, a new map was specially procured for cycling and we got eggs from the in-house chickens.

Highly recommended are trips to Gravelines or Grand et Petit Fort Phillipe (there are also restaurants)- about 30 min.by bike, and to Boulogne sur Mer (about 30 min. by car). The two capes west of Calais are a must anyway...
The coastal section from Calais to there is a dream.
We will certainly come back - and until then I will diligently learn French! -
