Description

Our garden is large, it allows to be quiet.
The choice of the site is vast, shaded, in the sun, it is with the choice.
Peace and quiet will be the order of the day, but exchanges and discoveries with our family will be equally important.

The setting

The village of Corroy-le-Château is quiet and peaceful.
Woods and fields surround us.
Our garden is 125 m long.
This allows different atmospheres, those to play (swing, trampoline, soccer, basketball ...), those to rest, to read in peace, under a tree, in a deckchair ...
Conviviality is another notion that represents us, our terrace allows to take the aperitif, to eat all together, to finish the evenings around a fire.

The spots

You can choose between shade, sun, at the bottom of the garden, or closer to the house.
Everything is possible.
The ground is not quite flat, but it depends on the place.

The sanitary facilities

For the moment, only the water hose is available and a solar shower.
Other arrangements will be possible, but not in the immediate future.

But also by car, you will be at 20 minutes of Namur (Walloon capital), at 20 minutes of Wavre or Charleroi.
Brussels is 40 minutes away.
Gembloux is 5 minutes away by car.
There is a small grocery store in our village, 10 minutes by foot.

Other things

We are 4 in the family:
Maya 15 years old, Elsa 12 years old, Tom and me.
Basketball, mountain biking, scouting, gym, arts, cooking, music, nature, hiking ... are family activities.
We look forward to meeting you.

Rules

Our land is virgin and clean, the idea is to keep it that way.
The neighbors are not grumpy, but the respect of the sleeping hours of all is required.
The autonomy of the guests is important, we do not have the possibility to offer more comfort for the moment, it will come.
Making a fire yes, but in the space provided for it.
The schedules are to be agreed with the hosts via messages or emails.

  • We spent a pleasant evening, night and morning with Sandrine. The welcome was very friendly. Sandrine is very attentive, warm and hospitable. We had the right to a king's breakfast after having spent a night under a tent in a quiet place. We had the opportunity to share some special moments with our host, who was very respectful of our desires, requests and needs. My sister and I recommend this place 100% and will certainly return!
