Description

The garden of the small house, located in the heart of the typical village of La Petite Pierre, has a breathtaking view of the forest valley and the sunrise.
The garden is configured in successive terraces, with a vegetable garden, a medicinal garden, a henhouse, a campfire area and a terrace.
At the same time in the heart of the village and close to all hiking trails.

The setting

La Petite Pierre is at the highest point of the forest and rocky valleys of the Vosges du Nord Regional Park.
The setting is both very natural and gourmet, the village being endowed with many restaurants.

The spots

One of the terraces in the garden can accommodate a tent for two people.
There is an independent access to the first amenities outside the house.
The site adjoins a small chicken coop occupied by Gertrude and Heidi...fresh eggs offered by the house!
An old barn and a wood shed are also available to store bikes under cover.
The barn can be used as a retreat in case of bad weather (very minimalist comfort !)

The sanitary facilities

A drinking water point is located in the cellar, which is accessible independently from the house.
The toilets are inside the house as well as the bathroom.

The amenities

From the garden, a drinking water point, a washing machine and a drying rack, several electricity outlets and wifi are accessible without entering the house.
Inside the house, you can use the kitchen (fully equipped) and the bathroom.

The activities

The Petite Pierre area is perfect for hiking.
The GR 53 passes by there, as well as a circuit of the castles of Alsace.
Mountain bikers and road cyclists will also find their happiness, with dedicated paths.

Other things

The house and garden being in the heart of the village, there are neighbors to consider, especially in the evening.

Respect of the neighborhood.

  • A great stay with Anaïs and Fred who welcomed us very well ! The setting is excellent to discover La Petite Pierre and the surroundings with many walks. In any case, thank you sincerely for all these moments spent with you!

  • A beautiful humanity, a lot of joy of living and the heat of the fire. So many beautiful memories in this little corner of paradise.

Thank you again for your welcome, you were incredible!

  • Great welcome from Anaïs. A real comfort in the middle of our hike.

  • Anais welcomed us very kindly. She is very kind and benevolent. The place is magical. At the beginning of autumn, you can hear the owl and the bellowing of the deer if you listen carefully. The castle, restaurants and shops are just a few steps away. The region is magnificent, we are under the spell and will return :-)

  • Claire Anais is a very welcoming and warm person.
We spent a very pleasant night in this beautiful house with a friendly atmosphere.
I can only recommend you to make a stop there. Moreover la Petite Pierre is a charming village !

  • Great stay at La Petite Pierre with Anaïs !
We fell in love with this little jewel of the Vosges and the house (and the garden!).
The setting is so pleasant, Anaïs is very charming, full of life. She welcomed us with a happy simplicity.
We can't wait to go back!
