Excellent-
Great welcome, very friendly place. In the middle of greenery, the setting is just magical, with the storks as neighbors and a very appreciable calm. We recommend this place to all visiting cyclists.

The photo does not correspond to the location, just a water point, no sanitary facilities....

If you're looking for a place that's "cocooned", romantic, too cute or too "mimi", blah blah blah etc... move on.
If you're looking for an "authentic spot": you've arrived!
But the best part: the guy Lionel! Super nice!
In 1/4 of an hour, you feel like you're stopping at an old friend's place, so happy to see you! -
No such luck. Lionel wasn't there. No hot water, no shower. Abandoned land, old scrap metal, machine carcasses. Only one water point on the ground. Very very disappointed...
-
Lionel was very welcoming during my visit! The area is very quiet, we feel good in the country :)
-
Lionel is warm, welcoming and caring. His land is just as warm. Very beautiful corner of France with the song of the birds and the ocean near. Good continuation Lionel

Plan B ! On the low road... not very easy to find and not very good reception. Lionel is nice. The bike ride from St Thomas to Royan, superb !
-
Lionel's is Roots, and that's -why not- what we ask for...
Friendly, he (his friend) waited for us until late, and the place was nice (but not like on the picture)
There was electricity, a water point and toilets.
There are some ducks in a pen that make a little noise, don't get too close. -
Our stay went very well. Lionel is very welcoming, and he knows well the fauna and flora of the marsh. The site is large and quiet, well located. The mussels and French fries were very good! One drawback : the cleanliness of the toilets and showers were not at the top.

Very nice place, quiet and restful! As advertised.
Thanks to Lionel for his welcome. -
Beautiful place, secluded and quiet. Authentic welcome by Lionel in his period house
-
A very nice place and a great welcome! Thank you Lionel for this stay perfectly in the spirit of homecamping: hospitality and authenticity!

Lionel and his family were very warm and welcoming hosts. The setting and surroundings are picturesque and we had a wonderful time!
