Description

Hello, we offer you the possibility to put your tent or van (max height 2m50) in our garden at the foot of the vercors on the Drôme side. Sanitary (wc/shower) electricity included.
We are discreet but will remain available if needed.

The setting

We are located in the countryside at the foot of the Vercors on the Drôme side. We live in a small village of 550 inhabitants where the bell tower rings, the roosters crow very early and the farmers work in the fields to feed us. The charm of the countryside!
Very nice view on the mountain.
There is a dairy farm 150m away.
You will have at your disposal a side of our garden where you will be independent.
The garage will be open for your bikes if needed and you will have free access to the sanitary facilities which will be reserved for you (bathroom with sink, bath/shower and chemical camping toilet).

The spots

The garden is easily accessible, fully enclosed, flat. You can choose where to pitch your tent. Pitch with electric plug (extension cord on request)
For vans or pick-up trucks, the pitch will be on the pebbled parking lot which is in the shade most of the time, you can take out your garden furniture, awning or canopy. We only welcome one traveler or family/group at a time. Tranquility assured.

Private bathroom in free access by the garage (washbasin, bathtub with shower)
The toilets are chemical camping toilets.

Rules

Flexible arrival times except outside of school vacations, arrival after 5pm.
The gate is electric, I will leave a remote control if needed. You should never leave the gate wide open.
No more noise after 10pm on weekdays, midnight on weekends.
Thank you for keeping the garden clean (dumpster at disposal at 30m from the house).

  • We had a very warm welcome, though communication was limited (mostly due to my lack of french!). The place is just a short and pleasant walk away from Pont-en-Royans, which our hosts strongly recommended. We were lucky enough to enjoy a jour du fete there including fireworks which on the other hand had us back by our tent quite late. We continued our journey the other morning after enjoying as courtesy from our hosts fresh milk from the farm next door. Due to our short stay I'm unable to tell more but the area is well worth another visit and I recommend staying at Mylene's!
