Description

Private natural park of 20 ha with a beautiful pond of 2 Ha.
Several tent or van / camper pitches possible.
In the middle of nature, many animals, no opposite.
Provins at 5 min, train station at 1 km on foot.

The setting

A true case of nature and calm. You will be immersed in nature at the edge of the water and in the forest without any dwelling in the surroundings.
Numerous animals on this classified zone: duck, water hen, goose, swan, many fish (carnivorous), foxes and game.
No noise or light pollution.

The spots

Numerous pitches of different sizes for tent or van / camper.
Some accessible directly by van car, others on foot. Large parking lot at the entrance.
No height limit.
Each site is isolated and far from the others in a natural and raw setting that we wish to preserve.

The sanitary facilities

There is a shared dry toilet, but if not, plan to be on your own: no water or electricity

The amenities

No equipment, the objective is to be in the middle of nature and to enjoy it without the pollution of modern comfort.
You must provide drinking water, solar shower or your camping equipment.
Nevertheless, we remain at 5 min from Provins with all the shops.

The activities

Fishing, canoeing and hiking on site.
Visit of Provins medieval city at 5 min.
Park of felines and monkeys at 20 min.
Disneyland at 40 min.

  • Great experience on Johan's secure, quiet and clean site, with excellent communication and directions.

  • The site is nice, but it's a pity that the pitch (in our case for a roof tent on a 4x4) is very small and has virtually no view of the pond. There's very little room to set up camp. Also, the places indicated on the map (bar, sanitary facilities, etc.) are pretty much abandoned... Nevertheless, we had a great time.

  • Stay from 23 to 27 July 2022 :
    Arrived on the place easily, Johan welcomed us and proposed the different places of available, explained us the philosophy of the places and described the conveniences and collective equipment.

    Pitches isolated from the others, like individual peninsulas that enter the pond. Johan had cleared the areas, we had to clear a little to set up our tents (30-40cm grass), but it was quite easy. Possibility to make a fire (intelligently of course!) with the tip given by Johan: the land is peat (old peat quarry) so the fire must be made on a pebble it otherwise it digs!

    Apart from the party on Saturday evening (thanks Johan for the invitation!), our nights and days were quiet, with the sound of nature (just the train station in the distance at night that you can hear), lots of birds, waterfowl (I'm not a specialist) and peace and quiet. Fishing is not possible because of the algae, but the boat ride on the lake is very nice.

    Thank you to the Homecamper website to have made us discover this place and this adorable couple, we have already planned to go back there !

  • T.Nice place but there are other activities around the lake such as Yurts rental and the site resounds a lot, the nearby party disturbed a bit the quietness I came to find on this site. 18€ is the highest price I have seen on this platform for a site without any services. Nevertheless, it remains a nice place if you pass by. You won't meet the owner, the directions are sent by message, everything is clearly indicated.
