Welcome to our trailer !

This old fairground caravan of 30m2 has been entirely restored to welcome you comfortably, in the middle of nature!

The setting

The caravan is located under a beautiful oak tree, on the edge of the forest, in our farm.
You will have a view on our fields, and will be well isolated from our other rentals.
You are at 5 minutes walk from the beautiful lake of Mimizan and its activities.
The city center is just 5 minutes away by bike, and the ocean is 20 minutes away by bike (10 minutes by car).

The spots

The caravan is completely autonomous.
It is a two roomed apartment of 30m2, with a bridal suite where there is a foot bath, and a living room with open kitchen.
The sofa is convertible, allowing to easily accommodate 4 people.
We can also provide you with an umbrella bed.
A dry toilet is located outside, with a beautiful view of the forest.
You can enjoy an outdoor living room, a hammock, all in the shade of a beautiful oak tree.

The sanitary facilities

The shower (bathtub) is located in the room and is connected to the hot water.
We ask you to use only biodegradable products because the waste water is directly treated by plants.
There is also a solar shower outside.

The amenities

We do not have wifi, but the 4g network works very well.
The kitchen includes a gas stove, an oven, all the necessary to cook (pots, pans, cutlery...).
The trailer is connected to electricity, so there are many plugs inside, light, etc...

The activities

Various water activities on the lakefront, golf, horseback riding, ocean, surfing, walking or biking, tree climbing less than 5 minutes away.
Flowery walk and contemporary art gallery at 2 minutes.
Various animations....

Other things

We accept reservations for a minimum of 3 nights.
A reduction is provided for 4 consecutive nights or more.
The land remains a "wild" space, there may be mosquitoes, ticks ... Be prepared =)
But you may also come across some deer !

Rules

Arrival times : BEFORE 7pm.
Fires strictly forbidden.
Quiet places.
Use only biodegradable soaps in order to respect the plants that filter the waste water.

Poor

  • On the positive side : very nice couple with a great project, welcomed with a crate full of their vegetables, attentive because I could only arrive the next day, nature is omnipresent, my cat was very comfortable on the site and the wood behind.
    On the negative side: the state of the trailer was not sufficiently renovated for my taste. I could not stand the dust lodged in the old walls, old floor, old bed base, the sofa. When I put my hand under the box spring, the old fabric let go, unbreathable for my sensibility. When I lifted the bedspread, the mattress looked okay, but smelled strongly of perspiration. I gave up and went to sleep in my car at night. I had an allergic reaction and got sick. I tried to buy a tent, but it was too late, and as the space was in the wind most of the time, I could not enjoy the terrace and the front. For me this accommodation just doesn't fit. I bought into it because I have two friends who do renovation (buildings, trailers) and refurbish, with care taken with the bedding. I understood that the trailer was renovated but not as I imagined. So I lost 900 euros plus the purchase of a tent, and my vacation. However, if you don't have any particular sensitivity, it's perfect.
