At the edge of the state forest of Rambouillet you will find this house. At the end of a dead end street you will find a large garden. In this garden you will find a vegetable garden. Near this garden you will find horses, sheep and cats. Next to these animals you can pitch your tent. Breathe and sleep. This is 17 rue du chantier.
In the heart of the forest you will be far from the traffic of the cars in spite of the proximity of the national 10 which leads to Rambouillet. The garden is surrounded by trees and very bright. Country and sylvan atmosphere. Only the horse is likely to make noise.
Access: the end of the garden touches the edge of the forest and from where the bike path starts. To pitch your tent: the trees provide shade. The land is flat. The house and the tent site are very easy to access (there is a place to park cars). The land is one hectar long so there is plenty of room for large tents. The tent site can be located next to a fixed campfire depending on the number of people.
The sanitary facilities
At your disposal in the stables of the horse is a sewage system that allows you to wash yourself with a water jet (cold on the other hand, eventually you will be able to place a solar shower). Concerning the toilets you will have access to those of the house because they are located in the entrance of the house.
We can give you the wifi code for the internet. No kitchen but a campfire at your disposal. For electricity, depending on the location, it is possible to access a multi-socket. You can place your bikes under the stables so they are sheltered. If you come with horses there is a box and two near.
Many hikes. Leisure base of the ponds of Holland. Bridges for fishing. Equestrian center nearby. Bicycle paths and footpaths. The castle of Rambouillet is located 12 kilometers from the house.
1 tent for two people quechua.

All this is not very serious
Excellent smiling and available welcome in a beautiful setting. A nice family surrounded by their animals who knows how to put their guests at ease.
The setting is nice. For the camping with tents it is not ideal, there are horses, there is a pond so there are many mosquitoes. If it rains all night the next day you are in the water because the ground is not drained. It was indicated independent shower in the advertisement and at our arrival no shower. Conclusion for the camping with tents it is not the Ideal, for the framework and the geographical situation it is interesting.
Very nice and thoughtful welcome from Fiona's family.
Very pleasant setting on the edge of the forest with pony, sheep and even some chickens...
I didn't find the Home Camper website very explicit on the presentation of the services offered since I thought I would have access to a shower after a day of cycling...
Fiona's mother exceptionally gave me access to theirs. A big thank you to her and a big thank you also for the loan of the mosquito repellent really essential in this area...
Welcomed in music (I am a musician) by his brother, it was great, I spent a very pleasant night near the horse Hannibal. I was able to exchange a few words with the whole family and I plan to return one day.
Fiona and Laurent are very attentive to their guests, the place is beautiful, calm and well maintained.
We had a great time, there is plenty of room to walk around the building and enjoy the animals.
Thank you for your welcome and your availability!
Warm welcome in a beautiful garden surrounded by animals!
Welcoming and thoughtful hosts, and a big and cute garden (the lighted garland, guinguette atmosphere, killed me!). It was a luxury to be lent a tent and to make a fire in the garden. Thank you Fiona, and good luck!
Great welcome! Very nice place, quiet and pleasant, to spend an evening by the fire and sleep. The hosts are very available and considerate.
