Welcome to our child-friendly garden!
While you quietly read a book, the children can play on the playground equipment (swings, playhouse and trampoline). Our kids aged 7 and 10 also love to play with their new friends!
We love hiking, mountain biking, and running, ... so much that we like to open up our garden or meadow for fun adventurers :-)
The setting
We life in a little town Letterhoutem. You can put your tent, mini van or camper in our huge meadow or cosy garden. It is quiet here but during the day you can hear the cows, sheep, chickens, ...
The spots
You can choose to camp in our meadow and enjoy a beautiful panorama. In the meadow you are also completely separated from our house and garden. Or if you feel the need for more contact, you are also welcome in our garden, close to the vegetable garden, the chickens and the playground equipment.
You can use our table and chairs at the vegetable garden and .... you can even collect fresh eggs for your breakfast ;-)
The sanitary facilities
There is a toilet in the house which is available when we are home. We can also provide an outdoor shower with cold water!
The amenities
We can provide you electricity in our meadow and garden.
You can use our table and chairs at the vegetable garden and if you have a shortage of outdoor kitchen equipment, we can offer some extra outdoor pots and pans.
The activities
For the more active among us, there are many walks and mountain bike trails in the area : f.e. Cothemroute, a very cool geocache tracker route in the Geelstervallei, ...
From our garden you can even easily join for certain routes.
Very occasionally a yoga session is also organized on Monday evenings in the summer, always welcome!
During the summer there are many activities in our little town : including the Zomerschuur for an aperitif, fruit picking in Borsbeke...
We can certainly recommend nice restaurants / family cafes in the area.
We are just on the edge of the Flemish Ardennes. There is always a lot to do there!
Other things
You can park your car near to your tent in the meadow or our garden. Also cycles can stored safely.
In our meadow it is also possible to make a campfire and even cook on the campfire! Feel free to ask us and we will provide you with wood for one evening.
