Description

Near Gatwick. Camp and leave your car with us before your flight. Beautiful private setting backing onto Private woodland with large pond. Sheep and horses/ponies in neighbouring fields.
Supervised interaction with the animals available.

The setting

Beautiful private fields within our farm which backs onto our privately owned woodland which then backs onto Glovers wood with endless footpaths.
We have a nice size pond (We call it Pond Lake) with a little boat that can be used by visitors during the day.
We have sheep and ponies/ horses in the neighbouring fields as well as tame pigs and chickens.
A very friendly dog, Bella, who is very likely to come over to greet you during your stay.
Beautiful blue bells around May.

The spots

There are two areas for camping.
* Family friendly 3 acre field with fenced off field to contain young children and help prevent them going near the pond. This has its own BBQ fire pit and plenty of shaded areas.
Groups without young children can camp on the lawned area overlooking the pond. Which also has its own firepit.

The sanitary facilities

Compost loo. With privacy screening will be available for 2021 booking.

The amenities

Beautiful spot to camp.
Parking can be arranged if you plan to camp then fly for £3 per day.

The activities

Lovely walks through woodland.
Book an hour session to feed and interact with our animals £10 per family of 4. £2 for additional family members.
A further £10 to take the ponies for a walk.

Other things

There is a local village store in Charlwood and a couple of pubs and restaurants nearby that can be reach by car.
Our animal fencing is stock fencing and electric. This is switched off in the family friendly field when we have visitors.
We are near the flight path. There shouldn’t be many flights between 11pm and 6am but there may be some.
We can accommodate your horse if they are happy to live out. Hay & water provided £15 per night and a bucket of feed.

Rules

* No feeding the animals Very important. They can be very sensitive.
* Children must wear life jackets (these can be provided) when in pond area and be supervised by an adult at all times.
* Fires are allowed in allocated areas only.
* No loud noise after 10:00
* Must use provided loo for number 2s
* No rubbish to be left onsite including cigarette butts.
* Children must not be allowed to climb on fencing.
