Description

Hello fellow campers!
We're a family of 5 in an old Neuchâtel farmhouse in a small village with the main road nearby (not very noisy), so it's very easy to get to.

We're also big fans of camping of all kinds, so we're keen to welcome campers into our home if it'll help us to meet new people.
In the house, there are several apartments with very quiet tenants.
On the other hand, when it snows, we can't accommodate you, not even campers.
This is because the snow on the roof could fall at any time.

The setting

Our house is quietly located, although not far from the road.
There's a Landi store 200 m away and a well-known Thai restaurant 80 m away.
The garden is spacious, and the main view from the garden is of nature!
The village is a 3-minute drive from La Chaux-de-Fonds, a magnificent industrial town that made its name thanks to its watchmaking industry.

The spots

The grass pitches for the tents are in our large garden, and there are several possible locations with or without fencing.
There are tables and games for children.

There's also space to park a van at the back of our chalet when it's free.
You won't be able to put up an awning, but you will be able to enjoy the garden 10 meters away.

We also have a tarmac pitch for a camper van by our garages.
It's slightly sloping, so you'll need to wedge yourself in. You won't be able to set up chairs in front of your vehicle, but you will be able to enjoy the garden 30 meters away.

The pitches are easy to access, and there's no size limit for motorhomes.
Electricity available for 3.- per day.

The sanitary facilities

There are 24/24 toilets in the farmhouse entrance, a little rustic but very practical!
A washing-up area is next to the toilet, with hot water to be taken with a basin from the laundry room at the end of the corridor.
We have a laundry room with sink, washing machine and dryer. You can use them for 4 euros a machine.

Our personal shower is available if you need it, but not accessible if we're away.

The amenities

We can provide an extension cord for electricity for motorhomes.
Phones can be charged in the house.

The activities

An 8-minute walk takes you to the bus stop for Le Locle and La Chaux-de-Fonds and the train station, which also serves Le Locle or La Chaux-de-Fonds, and Neuchâtel is 35 minutes away.

There are museums, a small zoo and lots of different activities.

We're only 30 minutes from Lac de Neuchâtel, which is truly magnificent and unique!
There's also Lac des Brenets and Saut du Doubs to see on a hike in the area.
In fact, you can hike straight from our house to the forest, and why not grab a bite to eat at one of the local farmhouses or métairies.

Other things

You are welcome to bring your favorite pet, as long as it is kept on a leash on the property. There's a country lane next to the house and poop bags will be given to you if you don't have one. :-)

Rules

We open up our world to you, and what we ask is respect for the place, the people who live there, the children who play outside.

There are ashtrays for smokers, and we take great care to keep the site clean.

There are garbage cans 50 metres from the house. For 1.00, we'll provide you with 17-liter taxed bags that are used in the canton of Neuchâtel.

Arrivals at any time by arrangement.

Tent ready

We have 2-seater and 4-seater tents for hire at 5.00 per day.
Mattresses and lamps are also available, as well as other camping equipment.
