Cleanliness
Situation
  • The place looked good. The reality was quite different!
First of all, the location: no space, view to the neighbor.
There is a toilet but to get to it you have to make your way through the garage and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. We had to shorten our stay for a compelling reason and are still waiting for a refund after seven weeks.
    Conclusion : Avoid staying there

  • If the welcome and the kindness of Pierre, as well as the quality of the provided information are not to be questioned, the price asked (in totality since Home camper 'takes' 7 euros of commission (12 + 7 = 19 euros not justified for the whole of the service) is much too high.
At this price, camping is still preferable.
    Too bad

The access is not easy and the crossings difficult.

  • Pierre was not available on the requested date, accepted my reservation anyway, cashed my payment, did not answer my messages, told customer service that he would reimburse me by check, but I did not see anything coming. I don't mind being overwhelmed but there are limits. 15 euros all the same. For my first experience, this is not very encouraging. Melanie

  • Pierre M and his wife are very welcoming and devoted people, we spent a pleasant moment in their company. Very quiet and peaceful place. Thank you to both of you, we recommend you this place.

  • At the end of the road, a haven of peace and a very pleasant welcome
    There is even hot water!
Thank you Pierre for taking the time to tell us about your beautiful place

  • In spite of the very good welcome by Diane, I was disappointed afterwards to the point of shortening my stay because no access to the toilets. Misunderstanding??? The annotation as well as the comments indicated "independent toilets", and Pierre had warned me that he would not be present during my stay but that I would have access to water and electricity...I did not even think that a toilet would be excluded! Especially since Diane had shown me the access to the toilet (in the workshop) and she wanted to leave me the key.
To my surprise, there was no key when I came home from my bike ride that evening.
I can understand that Pierre changes his mind and entrusts his workshop key to strangers, but in this case I would have liked to have been warned in time to organize myself differently.
So I went back home the next morning instead of spending a second night as planned, leaving a message to Pierre...which remained unanswered, too bad because Diane was very warm and Pierre was pleasant on the phone to explain the route to me.

  • Disappointing experience. I made a reservation request for 3 nights at Pierre's place. He quickly answered that he could only accommodate me for the last 2 nights because he was absent the first. No problem, I accept and I find a paying area in the village for the first night. [...] It's not a question of money because the amount is small but a question of principle and honesty. EDIT HomeCamper: the traveler has since been reimbursed.

  • Everything went very well, Pierre is very welcoming and available, the quiet location is great for walking or biking. The toilets are in the workshop and in free access. Water and electricity are available. Nothing to say, our stay was perfect.

  • Very good stay. The place is quiet at the end of a road. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They gave us a lot of indications and suggestions about places to visit in the surroundings and also shared very interesting information about their travels by van abroad. On the practical side, the pitch is flat and it is possible to connect to electricity and fill your water tank.

  • Excellent welcome!!! We can't have better ! Very quiet place in the nature, warm and very accommodating hosts, I recommend 100%!

  • We arrived at night with a lot of difficulty because we didn't know how to use the GPS. Pierre and his wife were very helpful to guide us and welcome us at 9pm after their work day, as well as the next morning.

  • You have to go to Pierre's place, his living environment is a curiosity. He will propose you a place with a lot of empathy. Thank you Pierre for your hospitality.
For the next campers, I would like to point out a small thing that is important: when you approach Pierre's house, the GPS will show you the middle path, do not listen to it. It is a very narrow road, tarred indeed, but you will not be able to cross a vehicle during several kms. It is already a curiosity, a big village on an island surrounded by salt marshes and rice fields. You will arrive comfortably at the bend in the road under a flight of storks. I stop here, now it's your turn.
