Welcome to Blainville!
I live in a detached house with a small garden to welcome you during your stay in Normandy.

The setting

It's a relatively quiet location. As it's quite small, you won't have a whole field to cross if you're missing something!
I'm surrounded by neighbors (but not opposite), so you'll have to be reasonable about the decibels ;)
Birds sing merrily during the day.
Leaving the house, you'll quickly reach the town center with its shops (bakeries, hairdressers, post office, restaurants, brasserie...) or the shopping mall.

The spots

You can pitch your tent for one or two people in my garden. There's a tiny bit of shade in the afternoon, as the tree is in the middle of the garden. The terrain is slightly sloping, but don't worry, that's not the case everywhere ;)

The sanitary facilities

Toilets and showers will be in my house, there is no access to water from outside.

The amenities

You'll have internet access when I'm in the house. If I'm not there, Wifi won't be available, only your 4G/3G.
All the basics will be there for your kitchen (oven, microwave, toaster, kettle...).
There will be an electrical socket from the garage, and an extension cord to keep your appliances close by.

The activities

A short drive will take you to the many D-Day landing sites.
Ouistreham beach is an 8-minute drive away.
The golf course is a 7-minute drive away.
The Memorial Museum is 12 minutes away.
Downtown Caen and its Château are 13 minutes away.
I recommend a walk to the Pointe du Siège in Ouistreham and a visit to the Abbey au Dame in Caen (from the 11th-century crypt to the 18th-century convent).
