Welcome to Blainville !
I live in a house with a small garden to welcome you during your stay in Normandy.

The setting

This is a relatively quiet location. As it's quite small, you won't have a whole field to cross if you miss something!
I'm surrounded by neighbors (but not opposite) so you'll have to be reasonable about decibels ;)
Birds are singing happily during the day.
When you leave the house, you will quickly reach the city center with its shops (bakeries, hairdressers, post office, restaurants, brasserie...) or the shopping center.

The spots

You can pitch your tent one or two places in my garden. There is a little bit of shade in the afternoon because the tree is in the middle of the garden. The ground is slightly sloping but don't worry, it's not the case everywhere ;)

The sanitary facilities

Toilets and showers will be in my house, there is no access to water from outside.

The amenities

You will have access to the internet when I am in the house. If I'm not there, Wifi will not be available, only your 4G/3G.
All the basic elements will be there for your kitchen (oven, microwave, toaster, kettle...)
There will be an electrical outlet coming from the garage and an extension cord will allow you to have your appliances near you.

The activities

By car, you will have quick access to the numerous landing sites.
The beach of Ouistreham is located at 8 minutes by car.
The golf course is 7 minutes away by car.
The Memorial Museum is 12 minutes away.
The city center of Caen and its castle is 13 minutes away.
I recommend you to go for a walk at the Pointe du Siège in Ouistreham and to visit the Abbey of the Lady in Caen (from the 11th century crypt to the 18th century convent).
