Description

The following description is for the site we call "Bretagne Zone Heureuse" . We have another ad, identical to this one, for the second pitch we reserve for homecampeurs, called "Un été de Breizh". We've updated the availability of these two sites to March 31, 2024, so you can rely on them to plan a visit to Terres de Légendes!


Here's a "short" description of our property and the project it offers:
You'll find us 150 meters from the beach and the GR34, accessible by a footpath. We welcome you to a plot with 8 pitches and a total surface area of around 5000m², with sanitary facilities, water and electricity.
Please note: DO NOT RELY ON THE RATES INDICATED ON THE SEARCH ENGINE: Our prices are degressive and include all taxes.
And don't forget that we offer you a range of options: a bare pitch, but also a fully-equipped caravan and a gîte. So contact us and we'll discuss your project together!

On site: pets welcome, grassed play area (soccer and volleyball), solar showers, washhouse and water points for rinsing your overalls! Shared vegetable garden with one participatory gardening day a week, brazier to warm up the evenings and two separate sanitary areas.
Two requirements: respect for sleep (no noise from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.) and respect for shared facilities (everyone helps to maintain the sanitary facilities).

The setting

Just 2 steps from the sea, with a view of the chapel and agricultural fields,
you'll get your fill of sea spray, waves and iodized air, as well as friendly encounters often rich in anecdotes, so you can leave with your suitcases full of memories!

The spots

Each pitch is bordered by hedges and has an electric hook-up, access to sanitary facilities and a grassed play area (soccer, volleyball and other ball games), as well as petanque lanes. Self-service water points are also available,
We're also a Quechua relay: just ask when you book, and your tent will be waiting for you on the site. Travel light, and check out the homecamper and decathlon websites!

The sanitary facilities

We provide 2 sanitary areas
The first offers 2 showers, 2 WCs, 2 urinals, 1 double sink, 3 washbasins and 1 washing machine (1 machine per week offered to each family, 3 euros for the next).
The second offers a toilet, a shower, 3 washbasins, a urinal, a double sink, a washbasin and two solar showers for when you return from the beach!

At the entrance to each one, you'll find an automatic dispenser for hydro-alcoholic gel, wipes and disinfectant for surfaces: toilet bowls, taps, light switches... Please use them every time you use the communal areas, and take part in the weekly clean-up.

For our part, we assure you that we'll also do a thorough cleaning once a week.

The amenities

For your leisure activities:
- grassed playground with soccer goals, basketball hoop and volleyball net
- petanque lanes to be resurfaced in 2020
- a ping-pong table under cover
- the beach, with its stretches of fine sand, its rocks and their legends and, above all, the ocean that seems to have come from faraway lands! Who will let you surf its waves at high tide or dive into its clear... and cool waters, because after all, yes, we are in Brittany! !!
For those of you who travel light, we set up a locked room with a gas stove and fridge, a table and chairs, and a clothesline that we privatize just for you, for a daily fee of 2 euros.
Upon reservation, we'll also deliver a hearty, local breakfast tray with a savory variation or local lichouseries instead of pastries, as you prefer!

The activities

The above-mentioned leisure activities are also available on site:
Hiking, cultural activities (listed Meneham site 3km away, Saint Egarec chapel 300m away offering themed evenings), surf school 300m away (remember to book), fishing 5km away, small shops 3km away, train station, airport and landing stages 30km away.
Plan at least one sea outing during your stay, as our islands are exceptional and easily accessible.

Other things

ATTENTION: We give priority to MONTHLY RENTALS and ask you to contact us before planning your visit. And from 1 week upwards, we accept payment of half the amount due by vacation vouchers.
If you'd like to spend a few days with us, we offer a sliding scale of charges for longer stays.

SOME EXAMPLES OF RATES
Short stay (less than 7 nights) for 2 adults = 24 euros per night,
A week for 2 for 155 euros
A week with 2 children for 235 euros,
And if you plan to stay at Le Vivier for 15 days, you can expect to pay 310 euros for a couple and 425 for a family of 4.

NEW FOR 2022: a shared garden and a brazier area: all the conviviality we've been missing! And what a success! Harvesting vegetables with your children, being able to offer them to you with pleasure and hearing you say how good they were, that's really encouraging!
As for the brazier, many of you wanted to heat up your pizzas and tell me all about the pleasures you enjoyed ;-)
And we'll long remember the camping party that brought everyone together around the fire for a meal of grilled meats...

In 2023: We've improved the comfort of the gite: a few paint jobs, a total refurbishment of the master bedroom, a new outside toilet, a facade renovation, and the installation of a workspace so that the growing number of you who telecommute can combine business with pleasure!

In anticipation of the summer of 2024, we redid the lawns on several sites, but then storm Ciaran changed our priorities somewhat! So we'll be putting a brand-new roof on the downstairs sanitary block, cladding our gite, fencing here and there, and probably planting a few trees where the uprooted hedges won't take root again!
We also plan to put a floor under the barnum so that we can dance and simply welcome your guests of all ages on firm ground!
We will also try to improve our Pôte âgé to vary the fruits and vegetables that will delight our taste buds this summer after our "j'art-dîne-à jeux" sessions!!!!

Rules

We prefer LONG-TERM STAYS and ask you to contact us before planning your visit.
We ask everyone to respect their neighbors' sleep by not making noise between 11pm and 8am.
We accept your pets, but remind you that they must remain under your supervision, that you can put their waste in the compost bins and that their presence on the beach is not authorized in season. Fortunately, you have the customs path and the circuits between land and sea for your canine strolls!
We lend you the washing machine for one use per week per family.
We ask everyone to help clean the sanitary facilities on a regular basis, at least once a week.
We are open in July and August, and even a little before and after if our schedules allow.
...and even accept and encourage your suggestions!

  • Nelly's plot is idyllically located in Kerlouan, just a few steps from a beautiful white sandy beach with a point to watch the sunset. Spacious plot, quiet neighborhood, clean sanitary facilities and the best part: the washing machine! Nelly and her husband were kind enough to come to our rescue by lending us an arbour to be able to eat in the rain. We will come back to this heavenly corner of Brittany which has conquered us!
