Description

In the middle of the green and yet central ! Wonderful location in the south of Hamburg.

The setting

With a clear view of the greenery, you can start the day comfortably with us. For coffee in the morning sun, the birds are chirping, in the distance you can see the container cranes of the bustling port of Hamburg and sometimes you can hear the cruise ships toot when they start from Hamburg into the world.

The spots

In the morning the sun wakes you up, the rest of the day trees provide shade / partial shade. Our lawn is flat and perfectly suitable for tents and also vehicles.

The sanitary facilities

We have converted our garden cottage into a small bathroom (see photo in the gallery). Here even guests without their own bathroom can freshen up, take a short shower and use the toilet. Running water is also available at our outside connection.

The amenities

There is seating on our property (including covered), a free-access refrigerator, rental dishes, and barbecues are allowed.

The activities

Activities ? Hamburg ! Our hometown offers simply everything. Lots of sights, culture, musicals, nature, sports and much more. By bus and train you are from us in 35 minutes at the main station or even nicer, you take the ferry from Finkenwerder and experience Hamburg right from the water. To the ferry it goes by bus or comfortably with the own bicycle. With the Fahhrad one can cycle also by the old Elbtunnel directly into the Hamburg city or explore the old country, the largest fruit cultivation area of Northern Europe. Quasi on our doorstep are the Harburg mountains, ideal for hiking or mountain biking. There is sooooo much to discover, just ask us, we are happy to give tips and suggestions.

We were desperately looking for accommodation for the evening but were unsuccessful after a train problem disrupted our plans and we had to spend the night on the train. He accepted us at 6pm when his garden was already occupied and as he was not there he explained everything to us from a distance.
    In short, don't hesitate! Moreover, it is well located to visit Hamburg while camping in the nature.

  • We have explored Hamburg as a couple (grandpa and grandson) and used Camp H as a base. We liked it very much, friendly reception and all-round care and tips inclusiv. The camper could stay, because we have used the public.

  • Very friendly and helpful hosts. In the middle of greenery in the south of HH in a large garden with lots of trees. Many joggers and dog walkers on the way to the driveway. Shower and bio-separate toilet something "getting used to" but quite original. Approx. 30 minutes by car to the city.
