Description

In the heart of the Monts de la Madeleine and the vineyards of the Côte Roannaise.
A natural space with a clear view.
Located in Auvergne Rhône Alpes, 1h from Lyon, St Etienne and Clermont Ferrand.

The setting

The land is in the meadow, with a very clear view on the plain.
You will have your autonomy (the land is above our house), and by your own access.
A quiet place, in the heart of nature, where the respect of the fauna and flora is an evidence. A place to recharge your batteries, to disconnect, and to enjoy the starry sky.

The spots

The location for your tent or Minivan is free: in the meadow, in the shade of a chestnut tree, of the fir trees or not far from the small vineyard hut.
A wild camping but in an "improved" version with small equipments on the spot, in the vineyard hut.
It's up to you to choose where you want to set up with your tent, van or car.
Only 1 reservation at the same time on more than 3500 m2 !
The access in the meadow will be specified to you at the time of your arrival at our house, because little visible, we will be able to thus accompany you.

The sanitary facilities

The dry toilets are in the vineyard hut.
A solar shower is at your disposal with a shower corner under the trees (please ask us to prepare the water in advance).

The amenities

In the vineyard hut:
We provide a drinking water supply,
High space to store your bags and free space in your tent, a little coolness for your food in the shelter of the stone walls,
4 chairs, 2 stools and a garden table are at your disposal.
There is no electricity on site, but 2 solar lamps, and we can recharge your devices.
1 hammock, 2 deckchairs.
On request, we can provide a barbecue.

The activities

Departure of hiking or mountain biking directly from the site to reach beautiful viewpoints, the site of the dams, the village of Renaison or the villages of character of the Côte Roannaise through vineyards.
The visit (and the tasting!) at the wine growers of the Côte Roannaise is very close.
If you are interested in heritage, the village of St Haon le Chatel and Renaison are within walking distance.
You can also be satisfied to observe the landscape on the plain of Roanne from your deckchair!
Shops are 3 km away in Renaison (supermarket, market, local producers, Saturday morning market, bakery and restaurants, pharmacy, electric bike rental...)
We will give you all our good addresses for a varied and successful stay, we will share the assets of our territory.

We can provide you with a breakfast or for your arrival, some local products in short circuit! (with pleasure to make you discover the local producers, and our honey!)

We are autonomous in water, a natural behavior "thrifty" in water is required.

Possibility of breakfast (€8 / person)

Breakfasts are possible on Saturday and Sunday: coffee, tea, fresh bread, butter, jam and honey from our beehives (and according to periods during the week).

  • We were very pleased with the interest in the presentation of the local region. The place is beautiful, large with a cleverly placed hammock overlooking the distant night city. The land is located in the foothills and offers a beautiful view of the surroundings.

  • I had the most beautiful wild camping experience ever at Delphine's. A distant view across the valley with twinkling lights of Renaison below and at the same time a twinkling starry sky above me. I stood completely free and there was true silence. The sanitary facilities are ingenious and completely in balance with the environment. Delphine gave me a warm welcome and helped me charge my smart phone. It's a bit of a climb by bike but it's worth it. Annemiek
