Description

In the heart of the Monts de la Madeleine and Côte Roannaise vineyards.
A space in the heart of nature with an unobstructed view!
Located in Auvergne Rhône Alpes, 1h from Lyon, St Etienne and Clermont Ferrand. 15 minutes from Roanne.

The setting

The plot is in the meadow, with an unobstructed view over the plain.
The plot is above our house, and you will have your own access.
A peaceful place, in the heart of nature, where respect for flora and fauna is a matter of course. An ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy the starry sky.

The spots

You're free to pitch your tent or van in the meadow, in the shade of a chestnut or fir tree, or not far from the little vine hut.
For you, it's like camping in the wild, but in an "improved" version, with small on-site facilities in the vineyard hut.
It's up to you to choose where you want to pitch your tent, van or car.
Only 1 other reservation will be accepted in the meadow at the same time as you on this 3500 m2 pitch!
Access to the meadow will be indicated when you arrive at our house, as it's not very visible, so we can accompany you.

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets are in the vineyard hut and exclusively for your group.
A solar-powered shower is at your disposal, with a shower area under the trees (please ask us to prepare the water for you in advance).

The amenities

In the vineyard hut:
We provide a drinking water supply,
High space to store your bags and free up space in your tent, a little coolness for your food sheltered by stone walls,
4 chairs, 2 stools and a garden table are at your disposal.
There's no electricity on site, but 2 solar lamps, and we can recharge your appliances.
1 hammock, 2 deckchairs.
A barbecue is available on request.

The activities

Hikes or mountain bike rides start directly from the site, taking you to beautiful viewpoints, the site of the dams, the village of Renaison or the characterful villages of the Côte Roannaise through the vineyards.
Visits (and tastings!) to Côte Roannaise winegrowers are just around the corner.
If you're looking for heritage: the characterful village of St Haon le Chatel and Renaison are within walking distance.
Or just sit back and enjoy the view over the Roanne plain from your deckchair!
Shops are just 3 km away in Renaison (supermarket, covered market, local producers, Saturday morning market, bakery and restaurants, pharmacy, electric bike hire...).
We'll be happy to pass on our tips for a varied and successful stay, and to share our region's assets with you.

Other things

On request,
We'll be happy to serve you breakfast or a few local products for your arrival! (we'd be delighted to introduce you to local producers, and our honey straight from our beehives!)

Rules

Please call us a little before your arrival, so that we can make ourselves available to welcome you, and agree on your approximate arrival time.
This site is reserved for people who respect nature.
We are self-sufficient in water, so a naturally "thrifty" attitude to water is required.

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€8 / person)

Breakfasts are available on Saturday and Sunday: coffee, tea, fresh bread, butter, jam and honey from our beehives (and during the week, depending on the season).

  • Everything was perfect, the place is really beautiful and soothing. Delphine was a very attentive and available host!

  • The place is exactly as described and as shown in the photos. Delphine and her husband are attentive and available without being intrusive. Many thanks for their warm welcome! We took full advantage of the peace and quiet, the scenery, the walks in the area and ... we met buzzards deer squirrels and bats to the delight of our daughters! Don't hesitate to go, but leave us some days free so that we can come back ????

  • A little corner of paradise, nestled on a hill.
An adjoining vineyard hut for dry toilets. A natural shower under a tree.
    Comfort and simplicity in nature.

Sleeping in a hammock, with your head in the stars, and waking up to birdsong in the morning.

A brief but magical stay with Delphine.
A warm, welcoming and caring host.

    I recommend her!
Hope to see you soon :)

  • Super host Delphine. We had 3500 square meters
just for us, deckchairs to enjoy the spectacular view, a hammock, a barbecue, the little hut that saved us from the rain, the forest behind our tent and silence at night. An ideal place to recharge your batteries. We'll be back!

  • It was a great place, thank you for allowing us access!
We hope to have the opportunity to return to this soothing place!

  • We were very pleased with the interest in the presentation of the local region. The place is beautiful, large with a cleverly placed hammock overlooking the distant night city. The land is located in the foothills and offers a beautiful view of the surroundings.

Great experience with the Homecamper platform!

  • I had the most beautiful wild camping experience ever at Delphine's. A distant view across the valley with twinkling lights of Renaison below and at the same time a twinkling starry sky above me. I stood completely free and there was true silence. The sanitary facilities are ingenious and completely in balance with the environment. Delphine gave me a warm welcome and helped me charge my smart phone. It's a bit of a climb by bike but it's worth it. Annemiek

  • I loved this place! Delphine and her husband have thought of all the little details. You will be warmly welcomed, then have your autonomy in the very large pasture above Delphine's house. Barbecuing, watching the stars in the hammock or taking a shower in nature in all tranquility or going on a hike to discover this beautiful region, all this is possible. I only regret one thing, not to have stayed longer :)

  • Pleasant little stop at Delphine's, nice welcome, great place for visits in the surroundings. We spent a good evening. Place to recommend.

  • We were well received by Delphine and we really appreciated her bottles of fresh water.
The place is very quiet and pleasant.
We had the chance to observe a small squirrel from our bed.
    We had a good time.
