Description

Throughout my childhood and adolescence, my parents were the managers of a 24-site campsite in the village of Salavre with a family atmosphere, where I met and welcomed campers of all nationalities.
With my husband, we renovated a large stone house in the same village, with its 5000m2 park that we planted and on which we created a large courtyard, a petanque court and a pen for our chickens.
When I heard about the possibility of welcoming holidaymakers in camper vans, tents or caravans at home, it brought back memories and I decided to offer you this warm welcome that I had always known, but this time on our land.

The setting

Detached house with its 3000 m2 land (see pictures).
Our house is located in the countryside on the edge of the road (departmental) which facilitates your access to our property. The park is large and you will be parked on the opposite side of the road. As far as noise is concerned, it is perfectly acceptable and after 8 pm the traffic decreases.
We are also surrounded by greenery with meadows and woods adjacent to our house. Our trees are still young but you can enjoy the shade of an old oak at the back of the park or an ash tree near the cottage.
Our house is ideally situated for holidaymakers who are looking for a place to stay before continuing their journey. This was the situation of most of the campers hosted by my parents.

The spots

Our property is easy to access, the entrance to our land is 2.85m with a slight slope (a van can access it very easily). The land is then flat.
Depending on the weather you can park either in the yard or in our park. There is no maximum size for the pitch.

The sanitary facilities

We can give you access to our sanitary facilities: bathtub on the first floor of the house and toilets on the second floor or on the first floor from 6pm to 8pm (3€/person/shower) . Possibility of lending towels and hair dryer.
An outside cold water point is available 24 hours a day. Please let us know when you make your reservation.

The amenities

We can offer you :
- Electricity (2€/place/day) with loan of extension cords outside the house.
- Washing machine on request (Supplement of 4 €). Bring your own laundry.
- Possibility of free telephone recharging in the house on request.
- Access to water (hot and cold) from our garage and access to the refrigerator and freezer in our garage when we are present.
- If needed we can lend you kitchen utensils (dishes) or basic elements (salt, pepper...) if we have them in stock.
- If our hens decide to give us enough eggs, we can sell you some fresh and organic eggs: 1€ for 4 or 1,5 € for 6.

The activities

Our park is large so you can spend your time on the spot: ball, racket, petanque (loan of balls possible).
In the surroundings :
- Walks in the woods right next to the house, in the surrounding villages, or in the Revermont.
- A family restaurant "la croisée des régions" just next to our house or 2 km away for a gastronomic restaurant.
- Shops at 2 km in Coligny (5 min by car).
- Private swimming pool at less than 1 km from the house, swimming pool of my parents' old camping. (5€/person); Please let us know when you make your reservation if you wish to have access.

Other things

We welcome couples and families who respect the tranquility of the site. As soon as you arrive, the site is accessible to you all day long.

Rules

Arrival time : To be planned together with your reservation;

Departure time : No fixed time;

Our terrace can be accessible to you in our absence but not in our presence.

Respect of the nature: No garbage, no fire, if you smoke please do not leave your cigarette butts at our place.

You can come with your cat or with your dog if it is sociable, if there is no problem of barking, that it does not ramble everywhere and that it does not eat the chickens ;) .

We don't have a gate but if you have children we have the possibility to close our entrance.
