Bruno G.Just perfect! Magdalena is a smiling, energetic young woman who manages to look after her farm while welcoming many gampeurs.
We spent two nights in tents and in the rain, but thanks to the small common room, the kitchen (with oven) and the hot shower, we had a great stay in the Lungau valley. Our 4 children loved the natural swimming pool and the little rabbits.
A very small price to pay for the perfect lifestyle.

Just perfect! Magdalena is an exceptional woman who manages to run her farm while welcoming countless gampeurs. We were in tents with 4 children and thanks to the small common room, kitchen and hot shower, we enjoyed the Lungau valley even in the rain (lol). The kids loved swimming in the natural pool and petting the little rabbits.

As soon as we arrived, she made herself available to show us around.
Was it the bad weather or the dinner bell ringing, the presentation was quick.
There's no deception here, but the final feeling is that she's exploiting her land to the full for maximum profitability with little service compared to its capacity: 1 shower, 1 toilet and 1 sink for at least 30 people on site.
But it did! We were looking for family time with our 3 children, so we didn't want to spend the evening in her bar, but it looked like a lot of fun.

We were at the end of August a week on the beautiful farm of Magdalena! The area is just wonderful for hiking! Also the homemade products that can be purchased on the farm are super tasty and just great! We will definitely come back again!

It was wonderful on the farm of Magdalena! We were passing through 2 nights with camping there.
The sun that rises shines directly in your face.
Our children (11,9,3) were always with the animals , otherwise you have not seen them.
Everyone was super friendly!

We have never lived so unconventional, conscious and relaxed as there. Especially for kids everything is a great adventure. More will not be revealed. Just discover and enjoy the freedom. That's exactly what you will find if you look for it.

Magdalena is super accommodating, takes care of EVERYTHING and provides a real feel-good experience.
The farm is located in a beautiful valley, petting the piggies, dogs, cats, cows and chickens is not only allowed but desired and you are also allowed to use the swimming pond.
A toilet and a simple shower are also available and there is also an in-house bar!

Carl-Philipp K.Magdalenas Hof is beautifully situated surrounded by wide meadows in the Lungau region of Salzburg and offers all those seeking peace and quiet, families with children as well as active vacationers (hiking/biking/skiing) the potential to experience an unforgettable vacation and a place to which one will certainly think fondly and want to return again and again.
This is due - not least - to the person Magdalena who welcomes you with very rarely encountered warmth, empathy and helpfulness, entertains and with incredible commitment both the farm and (outside the stable care) is always there for you for hiking tips and great conversations in an incomparable atmosphere. And if you lack anything: Do not despair, ask Magdalena!
I spent the best vacation of my life here in a tent. I slept well, was lucky with the weather in Lungau (in winter up to -32 degrees, summer nights can also fall below 10 degrees; so keep an eye out when buying sleeping bags and if necessary the onion principle!
A dream vacation as I have longed for so long, became a reality in this place through Magdalena and her family.
An unforgettable highlight that you can not experience anywhere else in Austria in this way.
I look forward to coming back and many great days / evenings with wonderful foresight and warmth in the heart!

Connoisseur tip: A swim in the in-house swimming pond and Magdalena's coffee skills make even tired men awake (if Sunday after a long evening in the "Troadkasten" should be a little air out ...).
Info: Please note that this is not a sterile hotel or a roadhouse, but a traditional farm: you can be sure that your hostess will do everything to give you only the very best experience :)
Highly recommended also for families: helping in the barn, picking homegrown herbs for teas, pigs, cows or stroking hens: all no problem at all and even expressly desired. There are also two cats and the small, sweet newcomer "Pan", who is happy about new playmates and gladly learns the craft of the perfectly socially acceptable farm and herding dog together with you ;)
