la Cotentinette: large plot in the heart of an old fishing village, in a peaceful setting, with plenty of space and sea views.
Absolute tranquility. No noise or visual pollution, perfect for lovers of "beautiful stars".
Close to the Eurovélo 4, the GR34 and La Cotentin beach (400 m), it's the ideal spot for a stopover between the coast and our beautiful countryside.
Some will take the time to come here for several days, as it's ideally situated for visiting major sites such as Erquy, Cap Fréhel, Saint Cast le Guildo, Pléneuf-Val-André (seaside resort and 18-hole golf course, and all the pretty Côte d'Emeuraude).
Others will stay just one night because their road-trip is more rhythmic.
Let's talk about your arrival arrangements and expectations, and we should be able to work something out (click on the link: ask me your questions).
On the spot, I'll be able to advise you on this pretty "little corner", and an up-to-date activities binder and IGN maps are also at your disposal.
As you can see, the plot has a sea view on one side and a view of the countryside on the other: ideal! Don't hesitate!
The landscaped plot is almost enclosed, surrounded by a hedge, not overlooked, and faces due west.
A very peaceful spot!
Breathtaking views over the bay, with sumptuous sunsets to boot!
The Bréhat lighthouse is visible in the distance (island 1 hr by car, 10 min by boat).
it is occupied by all kinds of birds (pigeons, swallows, tits (refuges installed on the site). You might hear the local sheep and horses, come across "Albert", one of the local hares, and see our very discreet and undisturbed "3-colored" cat!
The orchard: flat land ideal for sardines, and a shady area where your sardines will be welcome (plant well if the weather forecast is windy - it's windy here).
2 van pitches are available, both on gravelled ground, facing the lawn: one with a sea view, the other less so. ( not next to each other ). privacy guaranteed!
Arrival time: no earlier than 6pm (unless otherwise agreed) ( please enter your cell phone number and I'll WhatsApp or SMS you some details for your arrival )
time of departure: before 10 a.m.
otherwise access to the site is free, no timetable
I don't accept animals except very well-behaved ones, to avoid nuisance .
and to respect those who already live there.
The sanitary facilities
Showers, washbasins and toilets are shared with other gampeurs: access 8-10 a.m. and 6-10 p.m..
Sanitary facilities are cleaned daily!
To avoid abuse, 1 shower / night / person (and recovery of hot water that is not yet in a basin, if possible).

Rachel gave me a warm welcome! I felt very much at home with her and in her garden! I highly recommend...!
Rachel is very welcoming and smiling. Communication was very simple and everything went very smoothly.
A very warm welcome! The site is shady and pleasant. Not far from the GR.
Rachel is so attentive! Same interest for hiking, very friendly exchanges, comfortable bivouac in her garden and access to the shower and toilets of her small studio on the ground floor! I was delighted with my 1st gamping experience! Thanks Rachel!
Rachel was a very welcoming and friendly host! Incredible I would say for her hospitality! Taking a shower and enjoying the stove is great after a day of hiking. An exchange in all simplicity which is good when you are a hiker.
Thanks again for the water in the morning, the dry towel and the recharged battery!
The setting is very pleasant and the terrain easy to find, especially with Rachel's directions.
I recommend without hesitation.
Good experience our night at Rachel's, beautiful land with sea view, quiet, very clean sanitary, rachel is a reactive person, dynamic, very pleasant, very nice. I recommend her
First positive experience. Some confusion at the beginning concerning the access to the toilets and the fact that the place is rather intended for short stays. Once everything was clarified, it went well.

Very quiet site, not far on foot from a nice creek. Clean and well equipped sanitary facilities. Good welcome.
Great place, great welcome, very nice garden and orchard. Ideal for the sunset on the bay and the observation of the celestial vault.
At the top, I recommend without any hesitation.
Very disappointed. I make it short. Reservation made 4 months before for 1 night.guarantee of view on the sea.during the stay, we learn that other people have made a longer reservation so priority for the view.we are asked to arrive in the middle of the afternoon because it suits Rog. Received by the son (poor guy). Contact with Dog only by messenger. No information on the region. Address on the site false. I'll stop here
It was our first experience in camping with a local. We were not disappointed at all with this stay. Rachel was very welcoming, concerned about our well-being and willing to help us discover her beautiful region. The sanitary facilities are impeccable and the grounds very pleasant with a view of the sea. A big thank you Rachel and we will be back with great pleasure. Pascal and Catherine
Everything is top notch
Beautiful location, view on the sea, and especially on the sunset
Very nice welcome
In a word: perfect! One of our favorite HomeCamper addresses... and they were all good! Communication with the host was pleasant, the location was excellent, the view of the sea, and the situation corresponded superbly to our expectations. A large, spacious, quiet, flat plot of land, planted with trees, landscaped, well-tended, all to ourselves, at least out of season. We were in "personal autonomy", so we did not "test" all the "facilities and services", but we took water without any problem. The rest looked very good too. By small quiet roads, we can reach by foot the cliffs overhanging the sea, the beaches...in a few minutes...It is with great pleasure that we will certainly return one day.
Very warm and late welcome.
Land facing the sea very pleasant to wake up for the sunrise.
Sanitary very clean.
Available and reactive to different solicitations.
Excellent stay due to an ideal site, a beautiful sea view and perfect sanitary facilities
Rachel is a very charming and welcoming person!
Thank you and see you soon!
We had a very good stay.
Warm welcome, many tips for visits, restaurants ...
Very available and attentive host.
Sanitary and shower of the house perfect, very clean.
Nice and well maintained grounds.
Very good reception and very pretty ground in a calm and isolated place, we made a very short stay which we appreciated, I recommend!
Very pleasant welcome. We were not sure to meet the host because of our late arrival time, but she did everything to arrange us!
Very quiet location, very nice, very clean and accessible amenities in the home. Thank you for everything!
Very good exchanges with Rog, very respectful despite a change of program on my side. The location is clean, and I received a lot of attention in the reception.
Nothing to say, everything was perfect!
Very pleasant stay, with all the comfort of sanitary and shower very clean.
Seen on the sea for the breakfast, sunset for the dinner, that of happiness! I highly recommend and I will return there for sure THANK YOU ????
We stayed with the hostess for three nights. We were able to park our camper van right at the edge of the garden. In the morning the sun shone in our roof tent, we could have breakfast in the morning sun and in the evening you can see the beautiful sunset over the sea from the garden. The site is very quiet, you can't hear any roads and at night you can watch the stars. Another highlight is the freshly picked blackberries and strawberries in the garden. The place is equipped with a modern toilet and a large separate shower. Both are cleaned regularly. The hostess provides many maps and information about the area. The location is wonderful for hiking on the GR 34, cycling tours or walks on the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much, the hostess was extremely friendly and we were able to have very pleasant conversations. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be and we highly recommend it.
We had a pleasant stay on a nice site, welcomed by a friendly host with good advice.
The toilets and the shower are accessible and very clean.
The place is very well located near beautiful beaches and especially we could enjoy 2 beautiful sunsets on the bay of St Brieuc.
Very nice experience: nice host, nice setting, clean and well equipped bathrooms. Thank you very much!
A very good stay.
A very nice welcome...very pleasant place...
I advise 100%.
