Description

Large pasture or garden according to your choice, we welcome you in the quietest place possible with a view over the marsh, 5 minutes by car from the sea (le crotoy ), 10 minutes from Saint valery sur Somme and 15 minutes from the great forest of Crécy, located in the countryside you will be in peace to rest.
Dogs are allowed but must not disturb other campers.

If you wish to use electricity on your campsite, a supplement of 3€/day will be asked on site.

The setting

The first town is Rue (essential stores), 7 minutes away by car.
We're at the end of a cul-de-sac, so we don't get much traffic.
The Baie de Somme is a popular tourist destination with many summer activities.

The spots

We have a garden, and a large pasture adjoining our garden so it's handy for toilets etc. The land is flat and I have 2 nice dogs, 4 independent cats, 3 horses, 6 hens and 1 rooster.

Please note! It is possible that during your stay you will meet other campers, however we always make sure that you are as far away as possible to be as quiet as possible ;)

The sanitary facilities

A comfortable bathroom with electricity, shower and washbasin is at your disposal, as well as a dry toilet independent of the house and bathroom.
All available 24/7, cleaned and emptied regularly by us.

No extra charge will be added, as its use is included in the price (toilet paper is not supplied).

Also at your disposal are 2 log tables with stools, 5 plastic chairs and a large barbecue (bring charcoal).

1 self-service freezer, but no fridge!

The amenities

We can provide you with everything you need as we live on site.
If you wish to have electricity on your camp, a supplement of 3€/day will be asked.

If you just need to charge a phone, you'll find sockets in the bathroom and next to the freezer in the shelter.

The activities

Sea, forest, countryside being a touristic place many activities are possible (horse riding, hiking, canoeing, electric scooter, cycling, walking, etc...), there are also many cycle tracks to cover the whole bay.

A bike rental shop is located 500 meters from our home.

Other things

Please let us know about your arrival time on the 1st day.

For the rest of your stay, you are free to come and go as you please.
Departures on the last day must be before noon.

Rules

No timetables or special bans, just respect and cleanliness (put things back where you found them and clean up after yourself).

If you have children, we'll ask you to explain the basic rules for living with animals (don't bother them, don't chase them, and certainly don't throw (email hidden)Please do not feed the horses (only apples and carrots are welcome) :D

  • 1st and certainly not the last time.
    TOp stay!
    Great location, surrounded by nature.
The big plus: The bathroom, the hot shower in the morning which feels good.
    Pleasant people.
    Place to recommend.
    See you soon.

  • Very good.

  • A memorable Transhensonienne.
    Wind, rain and sun!
Thanks to Chloé for the great mud-free site!
    Plus: dry toilets.

  • Great welcome from Chloé and her mother! The place is great, surrounded by nature and horses ???? We recommend it 200%.

  • A haven of peace, you can only hear the animals, surrounded by animals between the cat who comes to welcome us, the hyper cuddly dogs, the horses curious to see you and the hens in the morning who come to pass their heads in the tent when we open ahaha a real pleasure! Chloé and Nathalie are very kind and friendly, and if we ever come back to the area it will be a pleasure to come back!

  • very nice stay ;)

  • Camper friends, if you're looking for a place to pitch your tent and recharge your batteries, you've come to the right place! As soon as you arrive, the magic of the site takes over. The setting is idyllic, far from any noise or visual pollution, a true haven of peace where you share a huge green space with two adorable horses (what a joy to open an eye in the morning on such a beautiful environment!), where the nights are lulled by the song of the owls, a place where you disconnect from the modern world to reconnect with Mother Nature and yourself...
A stay at Chloé's is guaranteed to be a truly enchanting interlude.
Chloé and her mom are two lovely people, who care about the well-being of their campers, and are genuine and helpful when it comes to sightseeing. In fact, Favières is very well located, close to the various sites to visit (Parc du Marquenterre, Saint Valery, etc.).
As for practicality, let me reassure you right away: the bathroom (bath/shower, washbasin) and dry toilets are very clean and accessible 24 hours a day.
As you can imagine, I enjoyed my stay at Chloé's so much that I can't wait to go back!
A big THANK YOU to Chloé and her mom, everything was perfect!

  • At the top

  • A very warm welcome, everything matched the description, Chloé was accommodating for arrival and departure, good advice for places to visit, the setting was just great for pitching your tent, grilling your merguez on the BBQ and enjoying the countryside! If the opportunity arises, we'll be back ???? Thank you!

  • Very warm welcome at Chloé's.
Quiet in the pasture with 2 beautiful, peaceful and friendly horses.
Toilet and shower as described. Dishes can be washed. However, beware of mosquitoes and bring mosquito repellent.

  • I spent a week with Chloé and Nathalie and it was very nice.
Great welcome! Chloé and Nathalie are warm, intentional and pleasant people.
    The place is rejuvenating.
I would definitely go back and highly recommend it.

  • A very warm welcome, a very pleasant and calm setting, a pretty place with plenty of room to set up, and friendly owners.
It's fun to wake up in the middle of the chickens ^^.

  • First experience with Homecamper
We loved it! We were made very welcome by Chloé's mom, who took the time to chat with us and tell us about good places to visit.

The setting is magnificent! We pitched our tent in the large pasture. We really appreciated this large, peaceful space.

Access to dry toilets outside and to the bathroom, which is perfect.

In short, the weekend may have been (very) rainy, but the sun was in our hearts as we had such a good time ????????????

  • A very warm welcome and a great site for a roadtrip stopover, with dry toilets and private bathroom. Thanks

  • Quiet place charming welcome

  • It was incredibly great with Nathaly and Chloe! Not only for me, but also for my dogs it was a paradise.
For our very first homecamper stay, it was a perfect start. We will certainly be back when we are in the area.
Absolutely recommend for anyone looking to relax away from Commerce. Big kudos to Chloe and Nathaly!

  • On our arrival we were greeted by Natalie, who was very kind, and it's a shame that Chloé didn't come to greet her tenants. We were bothered by a proliferation of mosquitoes and gadflies, which made our stay unpleasant.

  • Very nice! Very idyllic and superb sanitair.

  • A warm and friendly welcome at Chloé and Nathalie's home. Pleasant grounds and on-site amenities much appreciated. We spent a few days on vacation with our camper van, our family and our 3 dogs. The site is very well placed for discovering Le Crotoy, Saint Valéry and the whole Baie de Somme. Thank you for your warm welcome and a great stay!

  • We discovered this site with our first experience at Nathalie and Chloé.
    It was a successful trial.
The upstream discussions were great, and the site itself is top-notch. A large pasture with the sound of animals all around.
Equipped with dry toilets, bathroom and washing-up facilities, the stay was just perfect.
Thanks again to the 2 of you

  • Thank you Nathalie (and Chloé) for your great welcome!!!!

  • Very good welcome, land surrounded by animals. Very friendly.

  • it was fun to do again!

  • Perfect!
    Chloé was very welcoming.
The setting is magnificent, with horses, chickens, cats, dogs, trees and greenery.
Very easy to find and signposted on arrival.
There are all the comforts you need, with two dry toilets, a bathroom dedicated to home-campers, a flash water point, a fridge with freezer if you need it.

A small downside, but one that Chloé has nothing to do with: the SFR network is random and very poor, so be sure to protect yourself against mosquitoes (rivers, ponds and marshes are magnificent, and there are many weeping birds on the magnificent path to get there).

5 minutes away is the commune of Rue, where you'll find everything you need if you need it!

  • We spent a night at Chloé and Nathalie's during a bike tour.
It was a great first experience for us???? hosts who really understood the "homecamping" spirit.
A large space to pitch our tent and everything we needed to feel comfortable (toilet, bathroom, fridge and freezer available 24/24).
    Would definitely do it again!

  • A home camper we highly recommend! Particularly quiet location. Ideal if you're bringing your 4-legged friend! Ours made a whole bunch of playmates. Great encounters with other campers. Special thanks to our site neighbors for their freshly milked goat's milk, and to Nathalie for her dynamism and warm welcome.

  • A perfect night. Warm welcome. Chloe and her mother are extremely helpful and available.
They exude joie de vivre and that's really nice :)

  • Découvrir homecamper par cette expérience...quel bonheur !
Un accueil formidable, un chouette terrain, des commodités super. Bref, vous pouvez camper les yeux fermés !

  • We were made very welcome by Nathalie and Chloé. We spent two nights in the peace and quiet of the meadow. Dry toilets and bathroom were very useful.
    Nice 1st experience

  • Great first experience!
Chloé is super welcoming and everything was just as described.
    I really recommend it :)

  • This is a very quiet location on a meadow. There were 4 or so other campers. Don't expect luxury but the welcome and helpfulness are super. Highly recommended !

  • Many thanks to Nathalie and Chloé for hosting us for these few days. We had a great time. We highly recommend this home camper, large pasture available for travelers with toilet and shower. Everything is done with respect for each camper so that we can all have a good time. Thank you again for your kindness and friendliness. We'll be back with great pleasure!

  • Despite the storm, we were very well received and were able to pitch our tent sheltered from the wind. Thank you

  • Cycling for 10 days in the Baie de Somme, I camped with Chloé and Nathalie in their pasture, ideally situated for trips to Le Crotoy, Saint Valéry, Berck and Le Marquenterre. A great experience, already with the free loan of a brand-new tent by the owners, a real spacious bathroom clean and comfortable, separate dry toilets, large fridge/freezer available to campers. It was a peaceful place to meet Chloé and Nathalie, as well as the other campers. Thank you for everything and this rejuvenating vacation. A great place that I recommend.

  • Very good experience with Chloé and her mom. The site is very spacious and quiet.
A real bathroom and dry toilets are available, even for campers. Pets are welcome.
Last but not least, the kindness and hospitality of Chloé and her mom made our stay even more enjoyable.
If we ever come back to the area, we'll definitely return.

  • Very quiet location. We received a warm welcome. A well-kept bathroom. We were together with 3 more families on the meadow. Highly recommended.

  • Very pleasant stay in a quiet country setting. Exactly what we were looking for!

  • I recommend it, I received a very warm welcome. You won't run out of room. Ideally located for visiting the coast. Thanks to Chloé and Nathalie.

  • Very friendly welcome and great availability.
The grounds are vast and the bathroom very practical.
The children loved playing with the kitten.
Ideal for lovers of animals and the countryside (early wake-up call from nearby roosters).

  • 5-star welcome, very positive experience for our 1st stay with HomeCamper!

  • Thank you for this weekend. We were very well received at Chloé's place.
A beautiful spacious site shared with other campers.
The sanitary facilities (bathroom and dry toilets) are very clean.
    I recommend +++.
    We'll be back. ????

  • Friendly and welcoming very beautiful grounds there is everything you need

  • Nathalie and her faithful 4-legged friends had a wonderful time... Children and adults alike loved the place!
Thank you both for your warm welcome and the tips you gave us for visiting your beautiful region.

  • We arrived early and left late.
    Quiet place to cycle around
    friendly welcome
    Cats and dogs to pet

  • 2 friends on vacation driving around France with 2 tents. We contacted Chloé at the last minute and she had room for us on her pasture. Great experience, well received, thank you! We were surrounded by horses, cows, chickens (the rooster was the alarm clock), dogs and cats, along with other campers (tents and camper vans). They lent us blankets because we were cold - nice!

  • Really great.
    Very nice and friendly people.
Great rental. Super toilet and shower. Nothing to complain about.
For us 10/10. Thanks for all and a great vacation.

    Kris and Sara xxxx

  • Friendly hosts, the location is great for its peace and space.
    We will be back

  • This place is perfect for those who want to go green.

  • Very short but pleasant stay with Chloé. A pretty pasture with a few trees for a little shade. Chloé and Nathalie are very welcoming and their homecamp is very well maintained. Thank you for everything.

  • 1st campsite with our 2 young daughters (2 and 4). Super experience, the welcome is really top notch and the place is calm and spacious. Many thanks!
    I recommend
