Description

She's a keen horse rider.
He's a trail and mountain bike fan.
They're all keen hikers, outdoor enthusiasts and just plain good times over a Trappist beer.

Proud of our beautiful region, we welcome you to Durnal, a peaceful little village in the Namur Condroz, for a country-style stay.
Surrounded by our 4 horses, this small piece of land offers you the chance to reconnect with the benefits of nature and animals, far from prying eyes.

The setting

Facing south, in the company of our horses, we offer you a small corner of meadow, totally independent and not overlooked.
After a fine day's hiking in the Bocq valley, you'll enjoy a completely unobstructed view of the countryside around the brazier.
An ideal setting for a break with your partner, family or friends.
Passionate about horse riding, trail riding and mountain biking, we welcome riders, trail runners and mountain bikers.

The spots

The site is located below our riding arena, away from prying eyes.
The site is accessible via a separate entrance. Parking for 1 car is available.
To ensure the peace and quiet of the site, we can accommodate a maximum of one family or 2 couples.

The sanitary facilities

Particularly sensitive to the need to respect our blue planet, we provide an independent, home-made dry toilet.
A garden hose and a large basin are available for the washing of young and old alike.

The amenities

We provide you with :
- garden hose/bathtub
- refrigerator space (at the home)
- possibility of access to electricity in the boxes (telephone recharging, etc.)
- barbecue
- brazier for cool summer evenings
- pétanque, molky
- plaids
- plates, cutlery, glasses

For riders :
- 2 boxes available for your horses (at extra charge)

For mountain bikers :
- possibility of closed shelter for your mounts.

The activities

The village of Durnal lies at the heart of the magnificent Bocq valley and is a neighboring village to Crupet, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia.

Numerous walks (close to the Godinne Trail station), horse rides and bike/ mountain bike rides are possible from the center of the village of Durnal. When you arrive, we'll tell you about the most beautiful walks to discover.

Other places to discover/visit: Crupet and the Devil's Cave, Spontin and its geographical center of Wallonia, the Bocq de Purnode brewery, the citadels of Namur and Dinant,... And much more...

We also offer horse discovery and well-being sessions in the presence of the horse.

Rules

We ask you to respect the peace and quiet, the surroundings and the animals.
Do not feed horses or dogs.
Smoking is allowed, but no tolerance for cigarette butts (!!!).
Keep waste to a minimum.
