Our meadow is centrally located for you and your camper to start relaxing hikes or cycle tours. The fifth stage of the Eifelsteig trail is in the immediate vicinity. In the evening you can relax by the campfire and listen to the sound of the Urft. You can also try our cold drinks at the bar or prepare something delicious on the barbecue.

Your caravan, camper van, caravan, etc. must be self-sufficient. Sanitary facilities are not available. Gray and black water can be disposed of externally nearby for a fee.

Electricity, water, waste disposal, wood, drinks, etc. are partly available on site for a fee. Groups & tents by prior arrangement only.

UPDATE 02/2024: The railroad line, which was destroyed in the 2021 flood disaster, is currently being renewed. Construction noise (excavator work etc.) may therefore occur during the week. • Always a pleasure to come and stay at Chez Stephan.
Thank you for the warm welcome. Since our last visit, we've discovered a number of new features, including a fully stocked fridge and electrical fittings.

Looking forward to your visit ;-)

  • We had a wonderful stay with Stefan and Steffi: very warm welcome despite the late hour of our arrival, clear explanations, clean and superbly laid-out grounds (small bar, large wooden table, campfire with armchairs, barbecue...). Everything you need to have a great time. Falling asleep to the sound of running river water is really great.
The road passes close by and can be noisy in the morning, but it didn't bother us that much. We felt right at home.
We'll be back as the area is full of wonderful walks.

  • Dear Stefan, thank you for the nice welcome and the quiet night. Your garden is really very beautiful!
    We will definitely come again.
    Love greetings

  • A very large, well-kept park, where we slept very well, lulled by the sound of the river. Stefan and his wife are very kind and welcoming!

  • We liked the Sötenicher Mühle very much. Very spacious pitches directly on a stream, the entire site is designed with much love, there is even a beach bar :). Steffi & Stefan are excellent hosts, gave us tips for the surrounding area right away. We will be happy to visit again if it should arise.

  • We came to spend the Easter weekend at Stephan and his family with our caravan. We were very well received, Stephan was there when we arrived. He has a big meadow with a playground and a place to make a campfire. We received a book with the good addresses of the corner. Everything went very well, even the Easter chicken passed in front of our caravan on Sunday morning ????????????. Thanks to Stéphan and his family for the welcome at their place. We will not hesitate to return there if we are in this beautiful region.

  • Just spent a very relaxing weekend with Stefan and his family.
The meadow on which you stand is great laid out and surrounded by tall trees. Everywhere it hums and chirps. :-)
At peak times you can hear passing cars and at regular intervals a train comes by.
But that did not bother me. And the splashing of the Urft right next to the meadow makes up for it all.
I felt very welcome from the beginning and am glad to have found this place.
Will be happy to come again.
