Description

We offer 1 - 2 pitches for campers on our vacation farm. The pitches are accessible through their own gate and are located in the front part of our large property. For all vacation guests we have seating in the garden, a fireplace and a grill, which you are welcome to borrow.

The setting

Karft is a small quiet place, about 14 km from the Schaalsee. At 23:00 the streetlights go out here, so you can enjoy your night's rest in darkness and silence.

The spots

Our meadow in the front area of the garden is ideal for one or two small motorhomes. You can either stand on the paved path and use the meadow for the awning or drive directly onto the meadow. We have enough space for tents in the garden.

The sanitary facilities

We do not yet have sanitary facilities for campers. There is an outdoor water tap where you can get fresh water.
Washing machine and dryer can be used for a fee and after registration.

The amenities

We have Wi-Fi inside the house. Outside it is also available, but probably not everywhere.

The activities

Karft is located on the edge of the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. You can go hiking or cycling. As an officially recognized partner of the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve, we actively contribute to the preservation of our cultural landscape, which is worthy of protection. You can find more information about (email hidden)Karft is ideally located between Berlin and Hamburg. Schwerin and Lübeck can also be reached quickly. The Schaalsee and some other smaller lakes can be reached by bike in 30 - 45 minutes and invite you to swim.

Other things

We have a small bakery in our village. Shopping facilities are in Wittenburg (8km away) or Zarrentin (14km away).

Campfire please only at the campfire site.
Dogs are welcome (with registration), but please not free-roaming. (We still have two cats and another dog temporarily on the farm).

Outstanding

  • We stayed for one night at Stefanie's with our VW bus. Everything is exactly as it is described on the site. Already in advance we had a very friendly email correspondence. On the farm we were very warmly welcomed and so it remained throughout our stay. We give our full recommendation and will certainly repeat it. The baker in the village is a hit - there are still real handmade rolls.
