Description

Imagine... A road that winds through lakes and green valleys where cows, horses and sheep peacefully graze. A very small village (49 inhabitants!) at the foot of a mountainous massif suitable for many bucolic hikes. N°15, here you are. A house renovated with taste and fantasy in the image of its owner, an actress and singer. A large garden with a view on the surrounding countryside where you are immediately welcomed by Balkan the pony, Eglantine the miniature donkey, without forgetting our incorrigible biquettes Escampette and Azalée. In the morning, you can have breakfast in the company of our tame birds who will be happy to play the crumb catcher! In the afternoon, hike to the nearby Mont Gargan or discover the beautiful surrounding villages such as the small city of character of Treignac and its nature leisure center. Unless you opt for a family walk on the paths next to the property in the company of Balkan and Eglantine? And to end this day in beauty, we put the small dishes in the big ones by offering a dinner show by the fire for all the family!

The setting

The house is located in the heart of a small village but the land has a clear view on the beautiful surrounding hills and offers all the necessary calm and resourcing. You are directly in the middle of the animals (if you wish as they also have their private enclosure right next door)

The spots

The land was originally meant to be a teepee but we are in a protected natural area and the authorizations are still pending... In the meantime, I decided to open my land to campers. The land is sloping but has been completely and recently flattened on 100 m2 to accommodate the tipi and/or your tents. For the moment, the grass has not yet grown on this space. You can also set up anywhere on the site, under one of the trees for example, but the site has a slight slope. You have a private access where you can bring your cars, caravans, camping cars...

The sanitary facilities

The sanitary facilities are located inside the house via a direct and independent access. They include a bathtub, a small sink and a classic toilet. There is hot water all day.

The amenities

There is an internet box inside the house.
The kitchen is shared with the owner but not at the same time. At your disposal: fridge, electric stove, oven, sink, coffee maker, cupboards, dishes, kitchen utensils. Salt, pepper and sugar are available for self-service and there is the possibility of "mini grocery shopping", please contact me.
The plugs are inside the house, possibility of extension cord if needed (specify it to me in this case before your stay).

The activities

- The Mont Gargan (2 mn by car, 30 mn on foot)
- The beautiful surrounding villages (10 km away)
- Treignac and its natural leisure center (20 mn away)
- Eymoutiers, its medieval town and its abundant market (30 mn away)
- The lake of Vassivière (40 mn away)
- The lake of Masseret (20 mn)
- Limoges (45 mn away)

And our house activities:
- breakfast with (or without!) the birds (7 euros per adult, 4 euros per child < 13 years)
- board games (free)
- ballad with the donkey and the pony (20 euros for 1h to 1h30 ballad)
- Dinner and musical tale show "Elora and the magic harp" by the fire (20 euros per adult, 10 euros per child < 13 years, dinner included)

Other things

For your comfort, possibility of loan:
- foam mattress 90X190 13 cm thick: 5 euros/pers
- Bed linen (comforter, pillow, fitted sheet): 2 euros/pers

Campfires are not allowed but there is a brazier on site for your grills and other braised marshmallows :)

Rules

- Opening hours: arrival possible from 3 pm, departure at 11 am maximum
- Access: separate gate to be closed when the animals are out (there is an airlock)
- Smoking: you can smoke on the site but we ask you to pick up your cigarette butts
- Children: children are welcome, I myself am the mother of a young baby. Many games and activities are available for your children of all ages
- Private areas: you have direct access from the field to the house (kitchen, bathrooms and living/playing area), the other areas are not accessible to the public

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€7 / person)

Basic breakfast: tea, coffee or chocolate, bread, butter, jam (or milk and cereals for children)

Possibility of continental breakfast (sweet and salty) and/or Terroir (supplement of 5 euros per product for the whole family or 20 euros all-you-can-eat breakfast for the whole family while stocks last), your preferences will be requested at the time of booking
