Description

Hello, we live in Stolberg in the Harz Mountains, which was named Germany's most beautiful village by an online travel magazine in 2019. Behind the 300 year old half-timbered house where we live, we have a huge hillside property with fruit trees, wild meadow and a terrace level from which you have a magnificent view over the castle, mountains, the village and the beech forests. From here a hiking trail leads directly into the forest. On the terrace level fit two smaller or one large tent. From here you have the best view and a lot of peace.

The setting

The terrace level is very quiet. It can be reached via a separate access from the hiking trail. Stolberg is a historic European city, which is completely protected with the hillside meadows. Stolberg surrounded by mountains with book forests, which invite you to hike and explore

The spots

The tent site is a natural gravel terrace, which can be reached via the garden gate from the band path. Here have either 2 small or one large tent place. The place is very sunny, but can be shaded by a tarp that we can provide.

The sanitary facilities

There is a toilet house next to the campsite. There is a Terra Preta toilet, dry toilet, a wash bowl and 2 water tanks with 12l drinking water each. In Stolberg there is the bell well where you can tap fresh drinking water.

Our equipment is very simple. The campsite convinces with the beautiful nature and a fantastic view and the proximity to the historic old town.

In Stolberg there are several restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlors, museums, outdoor swimming pool, an autonomous electric shuttle bus, small stores, various hiking trails, the largest quadrilateral cross and, and, and

We pay special attention to sustainability. We try to use only ecological, or used materials for our projects.

Rules

In general, we do not want trash to be left in nature or on the site. A garbage can is ready in the toilet house.
For barbecuing, the prepared fireplace is to be used.
All living beings, plants, trees and things are to be treated with care.
From 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the noise level has to be adjusted in such a way that animals and people in the surrounding area do not feel disturbed.

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€8 / person)

If desired, we bring them a breakfast tray with vegan treats, homemade sourdough bread or fresh grain porridge. All food is certified organic or from the organic home garden.

Tent ready

We can provide a RetroDDR cotton tent for 3 people for an extra 10€ if needed.
