Our farm, where we live with dog, cat, rabbits and our children (all under 10), is located in the idyllic little village of Kleinwendern, which has made a name for itself far beyond our district as Bavaria's first arched village. In addition to this unique selling point, Kleinwendern is secluded but still centrally located in the Fichtelgebirge.
Our orchard is located at the northern edge of our village. Separated from the rest of the property by a barn, one can almost speak of seclusion. A campfire site (wood for the fire is included) invites to a cozy get-together even after the sunset behind the Kösseine.

Dogs welcome, but please leashed

Kleinwendern is in the middle of nowhere surrounded by many hiking trails, cross-country ski trails and bike paths.

On request fresh rolls from the bakery at the weekend directly to the door / tent!

The setting

No light, no noise (an occasional "moo" from next door), no traffic (except the neighbor's tractor).

The spots

Free choice of place, Shady under trees with good view

The sanitary facilities

Guest WC in the residential building with separate entrance 24h open

The amenities

Electricity is included, cable available!

If you feel like barbecue you can use the gas grill on our terrace in the lower garden of the property, otherwise there is in Bad Alexandersbad gastronomy and a really good butcher (walking distance about 20 minutes). For the hikers among you we recommend the Wirtshaus auf der Kösseine, which offers a 1a panoramic view over the Fichtelgebirge and the Steinwald. Pizza service to the front of the tent / camper is also possible, if you prefer to sit in front of the campfire ;)

The activities

Kleinwendern serves as an excellent starting point for hikes, bike tours or even climbing tours around and on the Kösseinestock. The Wunsiedler Felsenlabyrinth and the Luisenburg Festival with its beautiful open-air stage are within walking distance.
Upon arrival you will receive a folder with excursion destinations, maps and event tips around the Fichtelgebirge!
