  • Here, apart from the welcome, nothing goes right!!!
The toilets are to vomit ... rather go in nature ...
And the shower is no better !!!
Nevertheless, perfect for people with questionable hygiene...

Nevertheless, we are given a place in the vegetable garden on a slope.
It's neither done nor to be done, and certainly not at this price...
We've done much better elsewhere and for less.
    Disappointed ????

  • Looking at the pictures, and the price (60 € per night), I had no idea I would have to pitch a tent between the nettles and 50 hens, because yes we were put in the henhouse as the upstairs pitch was already occupied by other tents....

For less money, I'd have kept the fun of the adventure... But for that price, I've still got it a bit stuck in my throat.

  • Everything was perfect, Merciii

  • Wonderful experience at Ferme Résistante. Charly is very attentive and helpful. The pitches are far apart, so it's very quiet. There's a good mood and a spirit of mutual aid in this place.
We hope to return one day and highly recommend it.
Special mention to Franck, Turpin and la sapine! Not forgetting Les HomeCapeurs de la Balme!!!!

  • A very pretty view when you wake up in the mountains, minimalist but correct welcome

  • I don't recommend this place.

The terrace designed for motorhomes can only accommodate one and is located on a bend in the road with an overhang in the ground.
Planned for 1 with the hauvent, the owner doesn't hesitate to put 2 side by side, leaving it up to you to decide who goes first, and too bad for the hauvent.
IMPOSSIBLE for a camper van over 6m, it touches everything (don't listen to the owner) I almost ended up in the field, we were able to park in front of the house which was much better (but not as good and more difficult according to the owner).

Dry toilet with hay and not sawdust, it overflowed from the bowl, disgusting. And of course only 1 toilet...

A single shower for an entire campsite, i.e. around 20 people.....

I had to unplug my truck myself, which was plugged in at the top of a barn that couldn't even reach the top of the ladder. Iron everywhere, deadly for someone younger than me. The owner was absent, no one to help, and no one to welcome a 2nd lost family wondering where they'd fallen.

    Over 30 minutes from Annecy
And all for 61 euros a night!
The local 5-star campsite is much less than that.
Worst value for money in history.

There's nothing camping about this place. If you're really in need, get a hotel.

Interesting only to tent babos of dubious hygiene who lean and debate on climate scepticism (check it out).

Disappointing, I ask for a full refund for the 2nd night, which we preferred not to do.

  • We were very disappointed, given the price of 30 euros per night for 2 people, by the services offered: pitch on a slope and then in the access road, toilets and showers more than limited, 6 people max in the advert whereas we were at least 30 on the site (only 1 shower and one toilet), no electricity although stated in the advert, the site is very poorly equipped, lots of things lying around (old pipe, piece of scrap metal, false septic tank with lots of water and the mosquitoes that go with it.
C4est neither done nor to be done, bordering on scamming and swindling.

  • I agree with Nikko H.'s comment: you wonder where you've landed. Welcomed by a person (who was very friendly) who installed us and showed us the "toilet block"... what can I say??? A dry toilet with hay and a full head of water... a more than dubious shower. We didn't stay, preferring to book somewhere cleaner. Very disappointed ...

  • It was a wonderful experience and a great time of sharing. Thank you Charly and Frank!

  • Great place and very friendly host!

  • Great experience, we had a wonderful time! The hosts are very warm and welcoming, thank you for a great time! Beautiful farm, our location was super cool!

  • A real little corner of paradise,
Thank you very much for your welcome.

  • Great location, great facilities and great view. Unfortunately we didn't expect to see so many people when we arrived after reading the description. But that didn't stop us from staying a few extra nights.

  • Not bad, I don't have much to say about it.

  • A great experience
A spot with a magnificent view and a friendly welcome

  • Well, that was something :-) It was our first experience with Homecamper. We pitched our tent on the self-catering farm of Charly for 5 nights and have not regretted it. Beautiful location on the hillside, exciting conversations with the host and the people on the farm (although more with hands and feet than in polished French). Beautiful hikes are possible if you use the location as a starting point. Definitely recommended! Many greetings to Chopin. Thank you for the wonderful time, which unfortunately went by much too fast. Gladly once again, who knows.

  • Magnificent setting and lifestyle. More than friendly host.
We took an extra night because we were so charmed.
    Long live Savoie!

  • Our first experience with HomeCamper began here.
We were made very welcome by Charly, who showed us around and explained everything to us.
It was a great experience, and the spot where we placed our tent was great, although a little sloping. Everything is provided, including a small outdoor kitchen and a fridge for storing food! There's also a hot shower and dry toilet outside. The farm is located next to the river that cradled our 2 nights. 30 min from Lac d'Annnecy. We'll be back without hesitation.

  • A great experience that makes you want to come back! Very suitable facilities and super-friendly host. We recommend it!

  • A relaxing place in the heart of nature. The word bucolic or atypical is really appropriate. The owner is very accommodating and available. Shower, toilet and kitchenette available.... Ok, a certain level of comfort is offered. However, the site is not suitable (not yet) for a van or tents: it's on a slope. For the moment, the value for money is not there. Improvements need to be made.

  • Top stay! The host is very welcoming and easy to contact.
The presence of sanitary facilities (dry toilets and shower) is much appreciated.
Lots of things available, barbecue, crockery, tables, sink, salt, pepper... thanks again! A mirror in the bathroom would be a plus ????

  • Very warm welcome from Charly. Nice location and clean bathroom. A little expensive compared to others.

  • Venus in August 2021. The Grail of what we usually look for, that is to say a quiet place, in the middle of nature, surrounded by animals. Laurena and Charly were very welcoming, full of good advice of all kinds. On the other hand, you should not be too careful about the hygiene. It's vacations, you have to let go ;-)

  • Very good reception and very pleasant and quiet place a good time spent

  • We spent a very pleasant time. We were welcomed by Laurena, Charly and Franck who made us share the life in their farm. The setting is really nice with a beautiful view on the mountains, the access to the waterfalls, to the river and to different hiking spots is directly from their house. We thank them warmly for their kindness, their welcome, the discoveries and the enriching discussions. We will come back with great pleasure!
Maud Guillaume & Arya alias Croquette

  • Definitely our best home camp experience. What can I say about this location on the river!
Thanks to Laurena and to Charlie for this great debate and your orientation advices ;)
Thanks also to Franky for your kindness and for the kefir !
Ah... And incredible these vegetables, especially these tomatoes !

  • A small corner of paradise! The place is authentic, full of charm and conducive to beautiful meetings! I left feeling renewed. Thanks to Laurena and Charly for their warm welcome.

  • Great welcome and lots of things to discover in this farm.
Thanks to Laurena and Charly for their welcome.

  • We had a very good stay in the farm. Laurena and Charly welcomed us very well. They are nice and accommodating and the place is beautiful!

  • Thanks to Charly and Laurena, welcoming and friendly, for this beautiful stay at their place! It is a beautiful experience to sleep in such a quiet place, rocked by the sound of the water...
The atmosphere is friendly, with beautiful meetings.
The place has a lot of charm and nice services are proposed (outdoor kitchen, solar shower, Nordic bath...)
Very happy with the time I spent there! Thanks again for your help!

  • Unusual place, peaceful for those who like authenticity. CHARLY, very nice and attentive. Thank you

  • A wonderful place to escape to the mountains! Super well welcomed by Charly and Laurena who are always available to talk about animals, agriculture and the history of the Savoie!
The many free-roaming animals, the stream and the many facilities for campers make this a place I highly recommend!
Thank you for all the Savoisiens!

  • A very charming and welcoming place. Thank you for the welcome. I highly recommend this homecampers. Fanny and Jeremy.

  • Very warm welcome, my 2 children and I were at ease right away.
An atmosphere of serenity and simplicity inhabits the farm.
Our hosts take the time to welcome us, to show us the places of interest in the region, to share their knowledge of agriculture, food...
If we come back in the region we know now where we will pitch our tent !

  • Very nice welcome by Charly and Lolo!

  • We had an excellent stay at Charly and Laurena's house in the middle of their farm with a magnificent view.
    They are 2 exceptional people
We will come back for sure :-)

  • A very special place with many recreational opportunities and super nice hosts. Gladly again!

  • We were superbly received
    Everything was perfect
Thank you to Charley and everyone

  • A great welcome, two lovely and passionate people. We recommend and will come back as soon as we are in the area.

  • A successful stay at the farm, with the added bonus of a location right on the water! ????
A great welcome, an ideal location near the waterfalls and the Fier and very good moments shared
Thanks again, we will come back with great pleasure!

  • Our weekend at Laurena and Charlie's was great! The setting is beautiful and their garden a little piece of heaven! Everything is made by their hands and makes you want to come back as soon as possible. We were very well received by our hosts and all their pets ???? I frankly recommend the stay!

  • A great stay!
Very good communication, accommodating, perfect arrival.
Above all, the setting is enchanting, the experience is relaxing and exotic. The environment is perfect! Thank you so much!

  • On our arrival, Laurena welcomed us. The setting is nice. Not being able to plant our tent 2 places on the first site indicated for lack of place (+ rocky ground), the 2nd site proposed was adapted.
We know that the host has started home camping since July 2021. The facilities are really well done and it is a good point. However, politeness and respect for others were missing. Of course this situation was exceptional because there was a meeting the evening of our arrival. However, we were woken up several times by the noise of people who were a few meters away from us. The least they could have done was to warn us and apologize for the inconvenience. This was not the case. We also ignore the fact that when we arrived we were told that the fridge was unusable (blood from chickens that were killed the same day).

  • Laurena and her friend Charly have created a great place in this "farm of resistance"! The outside arrangements are really top notch, they thought of everything! They gave us great recommendations for walks in the area, and it was great! Thanks for this stay, and good continuation ;)

  • Very good welcome, very nice week, the location is perfect.
It is a real pleasure to be at the foot of the mountain. There are superb walks to do in the surroundings and Thônes is only a few minutes away by car. A big thank you to the hosts :) We will come back !

  • Great stay with Laurena. Very welcoming. The children could see the animals and have explanations. Waking up with the sounds of the animals and next to the river is really very pleasant and exotic. We highly recommend it! Thank you for this experience.

  • Great welcome in a small farm above La Balme-de-Thuy. In the middle of fruits and vegetables, geese, black sheep, ducks, chickens, pigeons... It's a small paradise for a quiet stopover at 15mn from Annecy. Ideal for children !

  • Great stay at Laurena and Charly's! Very welcoming and accommodating host.
The setting is great, ideal with young children who can see the animals very easily.

    To be done again!

only (small) drawback, location a little small for the very large tents.

  • Laurena and Charly are very welcoming. The setting is beautiful. However, a lot of work remains to be done or to finish so that the place is really pleasant... (Shower, toilets, ground for the campers.... )

  • A superb experience! Change of scenery, nature, beauty of the landscape, everything is there.
A warm welcome, full of attention.
    They are present and attentive.
The location of the farm is great for families, hikers or those who want peace and quiet.
    I recommend 100%.
