The setting

The garden overlooks cultivated hills, small woods and ancient villages. Our campsite is a stage point on the Cammino dell'Unione, which has Vignola (Modena) as its starting and ending point with a loop route. It borders a country road on which few cars and a few tractors pass. The vegetation is typical of the Modena hills. On summer evenings surprise events (Concerts, Outdoor Cinema).

The spots

2 ready-made tents with double bed. Possibility of adding mattresses for any children. Outside small attentions that will make your stay pleasant. Possibility to cook outdoors with already prepared stove or in closed environment with induction plate, kettle, microwave oven. Possibility to relate with residents and share dinners or social moments.

The sanitary facilities

In the area adjacent to the tent is a sink with drinking water and a shower with hot water from the heat of the sun. The independent toilet is in a building about ten meters away. it is equipped with a sink, toilet, shower, and hot water from solar panel or electric boiler.

The amenities

Wi-fi available. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, microwave oven, toaster and kettle. Dishes, cutlery and cookware are provided along with basic ingredients: sugar, coffee, salt, pepper and dish detergent. Electricity is provided in the tent areas by a cable connected to the power grid and a solar panel that powers 3 light bulbs and a place to charge mobile devices.

The activities

Guests can rest, enjoy the silence, observe nature, read and walk. Not far away are the beautiful boulders of Roccamalatina, spires where the peregrine falcon nests. A few hundred meters away, walkable on foot, is a beautiful craft brewery open on summer evenings. Land of Parmigiano Reggiano and Lambrusco and other food and wine specialties. A few kilometers away is Zocca, home of singer Vasco Rossi.

Other things

During the summer musical or theatrical events on the large lawn of the house. Every Wednesday outdoor cinema on the big screen. Possibility of Trekking instructor-led hikes and Qi Gong and Tai Chi classes.

  • A very pleasant place! We were a family of 5 and it was very pleasant.
Close to pretty villages and the Ducati museum
Guseppe is very welcoming and the breakfast delicious if we can we'll come back thank you for this place out of time and tourist campsites

  • We were made very welcome by Giuseppe and his partner. The place is very pleasant and pretty, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the surroundings, which we were able to discover thanks to Giuseppe's advice.

  • Welcomed by Giuseppe and his wife, we toured the block. In the evening, a concert featuring our host's singing talents. Every day we were able to chat with him and he suggested places to visit. We were made to feel very welcome and will return without hesitation. Giussepe alone represents Italian hospitality. Thank you Giussepe.

  • Very warm and pleasant welcome from our hosts. We appreciated the comfort of the tents and the facilities provided. Thank you very much.

  • very nice and open hosts! also the "campsite" was very nice, quiet location with fantastic view. In the common room was a table football table, which was very fun. but the best part was the warm hosts who provided us with specialties and advised about the surrounding nature. hope next time to stay there longer!

  • Fantastic, they are extremely nice, kind and interesting people, the place is beautiful, perfect moment ! Hope we'll have the opportunity to go back there! Thanks a lot for everything!

  • I spent one night there, and it's was really great! Léo and all the people i met there were really nice and respectfull, I'm so glad I met them.
The place is amazing, beautiful and calm. I slept in a big tent with a real bed and i really enjoyed it.
The bathroom and toilets were clean.
My only regret about this trip is that I didn't stay much longer. If I go in Italy again, I will certainly go there again!
Thank's again for everything, and see you soon I hope!

  • We were very well received by Giuseppe's wife. The place is very nice, beautiful view, big tent. The lambrusco and the olives were very nice! Thanks again

  • We planned to stay here for a night, stayed for 3 and would've loved to stay forever! Leo, Sari, Irene but also all the other humans living here are honest, friendly people who love to host guests and, if wanted, give advice for the area and, if time, help you out. Staying with Leo was exactly what we needed; We had enough privacy to do whatever we want, were accepted and welcomed in the big garden too and could always ask for advice or a helping hand. I loved the mix – being part of someone's life for a few days without being forced to. Leo is the perfect host, so are Sari and Irene. They offered us more than we could've asked for, shared coffee and wine and friendly words as well as interesting stories and some car rides. They are lovely people and I honestly fell in love with their vibe and the place. You can do hikes, chill in the garden the whole day, visit all sorts of 'farms/wineries' and restaurants, swim in the lake and enjoy the view. I loved this spot – away from the touristic bustle. Grazie mille Leo, till next time!
