Description

Welcome to the natural park of the Monts d'Ardèche!
Between springs and volcanoes, you are welcomed in the heart of a flowery meadow, surrounded by sacred forests, vegetable gardens and hiking trails.

The access to the shops and the river is between 2 and 5 km on foot on the paths or by the road. The local producers' and craftsmen's markets will welcome you every Monday and Friday evening in summer. Many activities and animations are proposed to you in the valley!

A self-construction in straw on the ground in the course of renovation allows some conveniences, kitchen and toilets.
It sometimes hosts participative workcamps, creative workshops and artists' residences...
I personally offer energy treatments for a rejuvenating well-being.

The setting

Between St Pierre de Colombier and Burzet, a space is reserved for you in a quiet private garden and arranged with love where the surrounding nature welcomes you to recharge your batteries, an ideal place for rest.

The spots

The caravan has a clear view of the mountains, the meadow and the vegetable garden. It is easily accessible and close to the cars and the house.
While the area for pitching the tents is shaded further down in the forest.
It is necessary to walk about 50 meters to set up the camp.

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets are available in the greenhouse of the agricultural tunnel, flush toilets with rainwater or spring water are to be supplied in the house with a bucket.
The shower is in a bucket behind a curtain in the greenhouse where the water is heated naturally by the sun. It is always possible to heat water with gas in the house in case of bad weather.

The amenities

The caravan is not equipped, it has just a double bed and a small table with a bench, it is powered by 220V.
A kitchen is equipped in the house: basic elements, gas, dishes... It is possible to put there to reload the apparatuses.

The activities

Many hiking trails in the valley allow you to enjoy the landscape. A horse riding center is located 2 km away at my neighbor Sarah's, and many neighboring artisans also offer basketry, ironwork or mosaic courses.
The river is 2 km away for swimming or fishing.

Rules

Children must be under your full responsibility.
Dogs are not allowed in the gardens or in the presence of wild animals.
Smokers are allowed outside the caravan, the tents and the house.
Thank you for notifying me at least 48 hours in advance for any reservation or cancellation.

  • Unfortunately, communication by text message for car trouble with Cookie. But all explanations were given.
The setting for the van was perfect.
However, the sanitary facilities were unfortunately to be avoided.... But as I wasn't alone on this overnight stay, I can't say who caused the problem. After all, the drinks and aperitifs outside were provided by other people.
So I can't meet all the criteria.

  • A very warm welcome in a secluded and atypical place, as wild as the Ardèche... A place where you can meet and mingle with other young travelers, for passionate discussions under the moonlight...
    Thank you Cookie!

  • Everything went really well at Cookie,
Good vibes, good atmosphere, nice space, simple essentials :)
    Thank you, we'll be back!

    Bisous aux chatous!!!

  • Very warm welcome!
    Great experience and beautiful setting!

Very natural house, if you're afraid of spiders you'd better refrain.

  • I spent a great weekend at Cookie's, in the middle of the Ardèche mountains. Very nice hikes in this area! The kitchen and the living room under the tunnel are very pleasant in case of rain !

  • I extended my stay at Cookie's because I felt comfortable there. I was welcomed from the start. And the place is great, conducive to calm, in all simplicity. Thanks to Cookie for the inspiring discussions, it gives you hope! I highly recommend it!

  • Super spot to sleep in the middle of nature. I recommend you the place.
We were welcomed by Colline, we shared a moment by the fire on the evening of the full moon.

  • We spent a night in Cookie F's haven of peace.
The setting is incredible, very calm, restful and close to nature. We had a very warm and smiling welcome.
The breakfast was also very pleasant with local products.

Thank you for everything and see you soon, I hope. :)
