Description

We will be happy to welcome you to simple nature our ecoresponsible project in this small corner of maquis on our family land.
We are organized with our modest means to develop this ecological concept respectful of nature and human.
We make rates before the season.
A precision for the tariffs of your stay:
=> until March will be accepted only reservations for a week or more.
=> from April will be opened the reservations from 2 to 5 days or more.
=> from June will be accepted reservations for one night only at the rate of 48 euro per night (for other stays of more than 1 night at the normal rate)

The setting

Nestled in 3000 m² of scrubland, the project is in gestation in the south of the island, on the border of the commune of Lecci and Porto-Vecchio north in an undergrowth of holm oaks dotted with a multi secular granite chaos covered with moss and lichen.

We are located in the village of Trinité, 10 mns from Porto-Vecchio and its urban agitation, on our grandfather's land of 15 hectares of scrubland and cork oaks, between the territorial road and the seaside road.
We are part of the last "resistants" who will protect our natural space against the "concreteization" of our region.

We have no direct neighbors but 2 big camping sites on the heights with theme nights on Saturday night and a housing estate at the entrance of the property.

The spots

We offer you 1 cabin for 2 people in a double bed, in a natural and shady setting :)
Thought to preserve the spaces of each one, the campsites are all equipped with an outside living room, a shower and a private dry toilet.
The beds are installed with a fitted sheet and pillowcases, you have to bring your own sheets, sleeping bag or blanket.

The price corresponds to the complete camp, that you are one or 2 persons.
Arrivals and departures can be made from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and from 7 pm to 8:30 pm

The sanitary facilities

For sanitary reasons on each pitch we provide a private dry toilet and a shower cubicle with either solar camping bag or bucket and jug at the hot water point to be filled in the kitchen as well as eco-labeled products.

The amenities

We provide a shared kitchen area with a dishwasher, equipped with a gas stove, a refrigerator and all the dishes you will need, a drinking water and hot water point, a large table and chairs.

The whole site is equipped with 220v solar energy, with all the options to recharge your devices (usb boxes and power strips)
All power outlets are located in the collective area, we have not yet equipped the campsites for the moment.

For internet we don't have wifi connection on the site but a very good 4G network for your phones.

To wash your clothes, you will find an AUTOMATIC LAUNDRY at the super market in the village of Trinité, 2 mns by car.

The activities

In the immediate vicinity you will find most of the beaches within 5/10mns drive, the closest being U Benedettu and St Cyprien, a little further on the same seaside road you will arrive at the golf course of Pinarellu, its pine forests, its small fishing port and seaside restaurants.

If you prefer the quiet and shady atmosphere far from the crowd of the beaches, you also have the rivers of Osu and Cavu on the territorial road to Bastia.

For the hikers, 15mns by car you will find in the village of Conca the departure of the GR20.

On the mountain side, passing through the village of Arraggiu, don't miss visiting its fortified site from the Bronze Age. Continuing on, you will find the road to the Ospedale forest and its dam, a 20-minute drive away, where you can take a breath of fresh air and bathe in the emerald green natural pools of the Barucacciu, or join the Mare à Mare Sud trail from the little village of Cartalavonu to Propriano.

Other things

For the operation of the campsite we have opted for 100% renewable energy! In order to protect the batteries, it is requested to minimize the use of electricity during the night to the lighting and the refrigerator, on the other hand, as soon as the sun is up, the solar panels produce 220v directly.

Rules

Strictly forbidden to make fire, barbecue/grill or light candles, you are in the middle of the maquis!
After many adventures we regret that we do not accept pets.

The camping area is open from mid June to the end of September.

  • Fred's welcome is always top-notch in a perfect setting.
This is our second stay and we'll definitely be back.

  • Fred has done a great job of setting up this little corner of the maquis in the shade. It's a very pleasant spot, and a very welcoming and kind host.
The cabin is clean and its little corner very charming. All you have to do is agree with the principle of dry toilets and the bucket shower, it's "roots" but very well thought out, "roots comfort" in a way :-)

We had a great time, but it was too short! We'll be back with great pleasure on our next trip to Corsica...

  • Nice stay on a very nice site, very well laid out. Fred is super nice and welcoming.
    A great experience!

  • Good experience to stay at Fred's place, in the middle of the maquis.
Fred is a very welcoming person, simple, without headaches. He helped me to set up my camp, very good !
He is also very reactive to messages, it is appreciable ! I really recommend to spend at least one night, see more .... for the most adventurous ^^
The sites are far from the others, which really gives the impression to be alone in the world ???? it was cool
    Thanks a lot!

  • Perfect stay, I recommend Fred and his cabins or tents for all people wishing to find simplicity, nature, and human contact! Fred is attentive and considerate. If we come back to Corsica, without fail we will come back to see him on his beautiful site =)

  • The night spent in a cabin at Fred's was really nice, it was a nice discovery. The accommodations are well equipped and the setting is unique!
