Description

Land of 5000m² in the woods in the countryside

The setting

It is the back of our garden, a former larch culture. It is a peaceful, rich, green, wild and soothing space.
Behind this land is the wood of Stambruges/Beloeil and to the left the Nimy-Blaton canal.

The spots

We have several spaces (shaded and flat) to pitch a tent as well as a minivan and a glamping tent for rent!

The sanitary facilities

A solar shower and a dry toilet are available on the site.

The amenities

A table and a clothesline are available.
Campfires are allowed on the site.
No direct access to drinking water but possibility to fill a can on request.
Access to a filtered rainwater tap (not drinkable).

The activities

In the vicinity of the site, it is possible :
- to rent a paddle to walk along the canal
- ride a bike along the ravel (bike rental available if needed)
- walk in the woods
- the sea of sand

Other things

Breakfast possible for 8€: bread, yogurt, jams, fruits, coffee, tea, juice, milk, cheeses and cold cuts.

Situation

  • When we first entered we saw the garden of our host and didn't know what to expect. Apparantly behind a small gate there was a mini forest with a couple of places where you can easily set up your tents. Next to our tent we ware able to put a campfire and make our set-up extra cozy.

    Our host was also very flexible and welcoming during our stay and even recommended some nice restaurants in the neighborhood for us!

    The shower and toilet could be improved by having a door for both of them.

    I appreciated the fresh water, the shower, the small shaded wood on this hot day.
    And a healthy and good breakfast to start a day of cycling. it was the best.
