Description

Privatize this place on the edge of the woods for your group, couple, family or even on your own. The 32 hectares of land and the pond will be privatized just for you!
In the heart of the national park between Sambre and Meuse.

We welcome you to this quiet, secluded spot, reserved for nature lovers and guaranteeing your privacy as we welcome one group at a time.

The setting

Wooded property with a clearing, pond and direct access to hundreds of km of signposted paths in a hilly landscape.

You'll have your own entrance through the gate to park your vehicle, as well as 32 hectares of greenery to pitch your tent and enjoy the birdsong and trickling water. At night, the sky is visible from the center of the clearing, free from light pollution.

All this on the outskirts of the village, so you'll have the forest at your fingertips while still having easy access to the village. If you need us, we're always on hand, as we live nearby.

This area, made up of large trees, a pond and a beautiful grassy central part, will enable you to relax in the sun or in the shade, as you wish.

Our garden adjoins the pond property, and you'll have the chance to see our herd of goats and our horse. That's why we prefer not to welcome your dogs. You are welcome to bring your goats if you like, as they love to eat the leaves on the property (please do not feed the animals!).

The spots

You can set up your tents anywhere in the grounds.

Flat areas in the center, slightly sloping at the ends.

Shade / sun / half-shade

Sheltered from wind and view by trees.

In winter, we ask that minivans remain parked in the driveway to avoid destroying the site (we'll guide you on site to avoid any unpleasant surprises). Mini-van spaces also offer an optimal experience, close to the campfire overlooking the site with a beautiful view of the pond.

The sanitary facilities

A 3.5m2 tiled cabin with conventional toilet and sink (drinking water) and outdoor shower (hot water via pressure shower).

Preferable to put some hot water in the sink via the kettle to warm up.

The amenities

There's also a second hut (concrete slab) 5m2 with fridge and small freezer, table, kettle, chairs and electricity. Perfect for shelter.

In fine weather, there are also two deckchairs for sunbathing by the 10-hectare pond.

You can dry your clothes on a clothesline either inside or outside.

In summer, you can put your horse in the meadow with you in the well-fenced grounds. Or in a box at the equestrian center 800m away (+12euros per night), ask us to make contact for you.

Rules

SCHEDULE: Please let us know your arrival time to facilitate reception.

QUIET: Respect the peace and quiet (no music!!), no partying.

EQUIPMENT: Please respect our equipment (chairs, tables, etc.) and put them back in their original place when you leave.

CLEANLINESS: Keep the site clean (no branches lying around, no garbage, no cigarette butts in the fire....).

SMOKING: Cigarettes must not be left on the site or in the fire! Take a pot with you to dispose of cigarette butts.

WASTE: sort your waste responsibly in the garbage cans provided (cardboard, organic waste, PMC).
