Description

A 64 m2 chalet on the edge of the Grand Bois, overlooking the meadow, set in a 150 m2 terrace with private Jacuzzi! Somewhere between a trapper's lodge and a Robinson hermitage, Minshuku offers the magic of an intimate retreat, totally dedicated to nature and out of time.

The setting

Perched on stilts, the view is unrivalled. The west-facing aspect makes for long evenings... Sheltered from view, this space is designed to be lived in as a fully-fledged Maison d'Hôtes... This explains its name, which means Maison d'Hôtes in Japanese. Designed entirely from wood, and in tune with the seasons, the Minshuku will provide unforgettable moments for small groups or extended families...

The spots

The chalet has two floors. It can accommodate up to 8 people in contemporary minimalist comfort. Ideal for 6, but can also accommodate up to 8 people in contemporary minimalist comfort.
First floor = 1 cosy living room with sofa bed for 2 people.
2nd floor with balcony: sleeps 6 to 7 in Tatami dormitory mode - including 1 separate small bedroom for 2,
= 1 tatami bed 160 separated by 1 blind + 2 to 3 Tatami beds 1 place + 1 bed 2 places

The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences: 4-burner gas stove, extractor hood, dishwasher, built-in storage space, combi oven-microwave, tastefully decorated.
The more spartan bathroom features an Italian-style shower with bench, in an atmosphere reminiscent of rustic homes.
A cocooning blend that reinforces the gentleness of living.

4-burner gas hob, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, crockery and complete kitchen equipment, bed linen included, WiFi, raclette oven, wood-burning stove and electric heater, Jacuzzi, cleaning kit, cooking kit (salt, oil, pepper...).

The activities

An ideal region for meditation, listening to birdsong, hiking, cycling, motorized cycling, horseback riding (horses, ponies, donkeys...), river swimming in summer...
Numerous local markets in season, hilltop villages, nature and botany of extreme diversity...

Rules

Reception from 4pm to 7pm. Departure before 11am.
Pets not allowed on the estate. Dogs not allowed.
No smoking in accommodations and woods, except on equipment terraces.
Vehicles are not allowed on the estate; an adjoining parking lot is reserved for them.
Swimming pool open in summer under your responsibility.

Possibility of breakfast (€10 / person)

Terra Kahwa coffee ground by us, various teas, herbal infusions, cereal, seed and oilseed bread, fresh butter, honey and local jams, dairy products, homemade cakes or puddings, juices or seasonal fruit.
