Description

Your camper van site is located in a farm built around 1720 by the Varennes family, Lords of Bois-Rigaud in Usson.
We find traces of the building in the archives of the Cluniac monastery of Sauxillanges.
It sits on a hillock overlooking the countryside, with 1.3 hectares of garden, surrounded by 50 hectares of meadows and forests.

The setting

Welcome to the Tuscany of Auvergne!
You are only 15 minutes away from the A75 freeway but already in the heart of the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park.

The spots

The pitches are located under the trees, in the middle of the meadow.
You can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside.
The land is flat, accessible by a 300 meters long tree-lined driveway.

The sanitary facilities

There are no sanitary facilities on the property. Your motor home must be perfectly autonomous in this respect. No emptying on site.

The activities

The great advantage of your camper van pitch with us, at the farm, is that you are at the same time totally isolated, in the middle of the countryside, but close to all amenities. The village of Sauxillanges is 5 minutes away by car. You will find all the facilities there, including an emptying space for motor homes. Numerous shops: store of regional products, 2 bakeries, 3 restaurants, press house, pharmacy, fuel, supermarket. The village also has many facilities: swimming pool during the summer, tennis courts, etc. The house is located in the middle of nature, between Usson, one of the most beautiful villages in France and the cluniac site of Sauxillanges. A hiking trail is accessible not far from the property to reach both villages on foot. In the immediate vicinity of the Domaine, you will be able to take advantage of numerous activities: cultural visits, leisure activities, mountain bike or electric scooter rides, horseback riding centers, etc.
For day trips, you will have the choice between the wild Livradois mountains or the Sancy area with the Puys chain, classified as a Unesco world heritage site.
