Description

The pitch is located in the middle of the ostrich farm, next to the chick enclosure, breeding animal enclosure, young animal enclosure and farm store.

The setting

Quiet location and hardly any noise, because the farm is located in a small village. The A3 is not very far from the ostrich farm, but you almost never hear it, depending on how the wind goes. All around are many fields and forest.

The spots

The site is a regularly mowed meadow with campfire area and picnic table. These should be accessible by any vehicle.

The sanitary facilities

Unfortunately, there are no sanitary facilities such as toilet or shower yet.

The amenities

Next to the farm store is wifi receivable. If needed I can provide kettle, convection oven, tea, coffee and salt/pepper. The electricity can be laid directly to your camper, caravan, ... be laid (light current) and is included in the price, as well as the drinking water.

The activities

In nearby Pielenhofen you can have breakfast, canoe/kayak, shop (Klosterstadel Pielenhofen) and go swimming in the Naab River in the summer. The area also offers wonderful hiking trails in the Naab valley.

Outstanding

  • The two days with Daniel and the ostriches were a hit. We would go there again immediately and turn pirouettes with the ostrich babies in the morning :)
    Daniel and his colleague Jonas patiently explained everything we wanted to know and showed us a lot. There is also a small farm store where ostrich products are marketed as well as electricity and a simple camping toilet with water connection.
