Welcome to our home! We look forward to welcoming you to our old mill, which is currently being restored. We're planning to create a micro-farm, respecting our environment.

The setting

Situated in the commune of Lartigue in the heart of the Gers, you can enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Gers countryside. On the banks of the river Arratz.

The spots

You'll be set up in the large meadow you can see in the photo. The ground is flat, with a small slope to descend, but access is easy (when it's not raining).

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets, no hot water, access to a cold water pipe.

The amenities

Access to electricity

The activities

nThere's a pretty village about 5km away, Castelnau-Barbarens, which is well worth a visit. There are also some great walks starting from Castelnau (map and details available on site).

Other things

The house is on the D40 (you can see it from the D40) between castelnau barbarens and herechou. If you are coming from castelnau it will be on the right (about 6km away) and if you are coming from herechou it will be on the left. Do not go up to Lagouarde.

Land & setting
  • An attentive hostess,
    A preserved site,
An atmosphere conducive to mediation and rejuvenation...

Thank you, Gaelle, for your welcome and kindness.

  • on the way to our vacation destination, we spent the night at Lartigue, off the RD 40; it's a lovely spot, between a river and a shady area. the grounds are large, the dry toilets are clean. and Gaëlle gave us a tour of the mill, which is currently being renovated. i recommend it!

  • Very good welcome, large shady plot, absolute peace and quiet along a stream, very pleasant, well worth a visit!

  • I loved my stay with Gaëlle: warmth, kindness, confidence. I'll return with infinite pleasure, hoping to see her parents again.
Space, freedom, but also mutual aid (Gaëlle's dad was the one who serviced my caravan and explained how to use it...the last straw!!!! )

Some work to embellish the place and to serve us even better. Thank you for your welcome, for you.

    See you soon Gaëlle,

  • We were welcomed by Gaelle's charming smile after having gone up to the castle by mistake, hard climb!!!
We were able to settle down under the barn, a very quiet and restful place. Very good reception, coffee etc... A lot of exchanges. Listening to us as "old fogies".
To recommend, very soon the pleasure to see us again.
