Description

Plot with 180° sea view

There's only one space reserved for you, so you'll have all the plot space and peace and quiet you need (you can also come as a group with several vehicles if you wish).

Pets welcome!

There is no service, but there is a free service area 10 minutes from the site at
at the Cité de la Mer in Cherbourg.

*special for Christmas and New Year*.
Entirely privatized site for campers, possibility of placing several motorhomes (total capacity 3/4).

The setting

Secluded enclosed plot 5-10 minutes' drive from Cherbourg town center.

From the plot, you can see Cherbourg harbor and the Ferry boats, and at night, the city lights up.

The spots

The site is accessible even with a large campsite, 7m40 long and 2.35 wide, but you have to take a dirt track for the last 50 metres that climbs a long way (a bit scary the first time).

Be aware that you'll have the whole pitch to yourself - there will be no other campers, only the owner, who can also leave the site to you alone.

Once you're on the site, you'll be free to choose your own pitch, make yourself comfortable and, if required, have a barbecue, barnum and garden furniture at your disposal.

The sanitary facilities

There are no sanitary facilities available yet.

The amenities

Possibility of loaning an eco flow delta max battery for 5euro in addition to having electricity.

The activities

Visit the Cité de la Mer, downtown Cherbourg, the Musée de la Libération and much more!

Extras

Tent ready

Bell tent available for 6 or more beds, very large tent 6m wide and 3m high! (Free of charge).

  • Incredible view, quiet, alone in the field with the dog. Worth the detour!

  • Very good stay with Jean Michel, he gave us suggestions for visiting Cherbourg. Jean Michel is very available and generous.
    I highly recommend him.

  • A wonderful family weekend. The scenery with sea views is magnificent. Jean Michel's warm welcome and kindness also touched us deeply. We left with just the idea of coming back. If you love peace and quiet and nature, this is a splendid place to come and discover!

  • We liked the pitch at Jean-Michel very much. The sea view is fantastic. You have the entire pitch all to yourself, only the landlord uses it from time to time at the same time. The area is completely fenced, so we could let our dog run free.
The communication with the landlord is very uncomplicated.

  • If you love wilderness camping, this is the pitch for you. Very large pitch with lots of vegetation and a breathtaking view. In addition to the sea, there are plenty of flowers and trees to admire. Too bad you can't take photos. You can set up a table in the shade under a tree, facing the sea. Unbeatable view of the harbor's forts. It's like being alone in the world. No noise except that of birds, far from the road. Walking path leading out of the property.
Very discreet owner, at the entrance to the site, while the camping area is further away. Very friendly, he offers all his services (loan of equipment if needed).
    A completely successful experience.
Good to know: electric bikes can't go up the steep slope (13°) down to the sea. You have to walk down (it's not very far) or take the camper van back.

  • What a view!!! Great place, great stay, very attentive reception, in short it is an ideal place for a stopover in Cherbourg. I highly recommend it !

  • A magnificent site, a breathtaking view.... the best.
Welcome and JM gave us a lot of technical advice as a novice camper.
    Thank you we recommend!!!

  • A perfect stay.
Very nice welcome, we had the entire property to ourselves.
    Unbeatable view of the sea.
    Absolutely recommendable
