Description

A warm welcome! Our plot is at the end of a small hamlet, in the quiet countryside. My two children and I live on site, in a pretty Gâtinaise house. On the 6000m2 plot, you have independent access to the parking lot (you arrive and leave when you want) and to a good part of the land if you need to, for your animals or your tent.
I can provide a small yurt if you need one, with camping bedding to go with it.
I'll be happy to advise you on walks, sights and visits in the area.

The setting

View of the surrounding countryside, fields, ponds, hedgerows... ! Our large oak tree welcomes you under its branches, and our mini beach by the pond is sure to delight children!

The spots

Stabilized, level access - no risk of getting bogged down. For trailers/caravans, a small manoeuvre is required to turn around. Shaded parking available.
For tents, several choices of pitches are available, depending on the season, mowing requirements, activities taking place on the site, etc. Pasture available for animals in the right season.

The sanitary facilities

No sanitary facilities, but access to a drinking water pipe.
Separate dry toilet in the garden.
Depending on the use of the house and my presence, access to the house bathroom is possible.

The amenities

Optimal 4G and 5G coverage.
Kitchen access to be determined according to the period.
Access to electricity + extension cord.

The activities

You can fish in our pond, go hiking, visit Parthenay (medieval quarter), discover curiosities (remarkable trees, chirons, the wobbly rock...), leisure center, swimming pool, playground...
We're just 1 hour from Futuroscope, Marais Poitevin, La Rochelle, Puy du Fou...

Rules

Be responsible for your dog and pets.
Notify me of your arrival and departure. Please arrive independently if I'm not there.
Leave the place in the same condition as you found it (garbage cans, cigarette butts, dog droppings...) There are garbage cans at the entrance to the house.

In simple mode, if I'm available:
- toast from the village bakery

Served in the kitchen or in the small studio, depending on the time of day and how busy the house is.

  • My stay at Pierre Olivier's was super pleasant. For the first stop of my long journey, I couldn't have hoped for better. We shared a meal and some good conversation, but if you'd like to spend the evening alone, that's perfectly possible. Don't hesitate to take advantage of Pierre Olivier's little haven of peace :)

  • A secluded spot in the heart of nature...just the thing to recharge your batteries beside a little pond under the oak tree! It was just too good! Pierre Olivier gave us a very warm welcome. We highly recommend this stopover. It's a pity we were in such a hurry to leave, because we really would have liked to accept the coffee offered!
